I've been mainlining The X-Files since they've been airing the reruns every night for the past one month. And now they've stopped that particular cable channel and omg I need my Mulder/Scully special brand of UST right now!

God, that show is awesome! I know it's awesome already but seeing it again almost 10 years later and still be impressed by each and every episode, guh, I just don't have the words for it! The suspense, the laughter ( any X-Filers here who remember that episode with the psychic who couldn't decide on what type of pie it was that Mulder stepped on in the hotel kitchen? ), the grossness ( flukeworm, death by cockroaches ), the angst, the THRILL OMG!! I love that series so very, very much. And yeah, Mulder and Scully love. Waiting for them to hug is a bit like waiting for the Winchester brothers hug.

Speaking of the Winchesters, it is so nice to see familiar names and faces appearing - Kim Manners for instance, Rufus, and of course Grandpa Samuel! And Wormtongue from The Two Towers. I initially couldn't quite place the psychic ( they seemed to be very fond of psychics! ) that was harrasing Scully in one of the episodes but I thought the voice, and the eyes, looked very, very familiar and then *lightbulb moment* Brad Dourif of course! And Mulder's little sister was called Samantha. I've quite forgotten that. Hee, no wonder Dean calls Sam "Samantha" heheh.

A pic of Scully in glasses, gosh, she looked so hot in glasses! Mulder too, but unfortunately I couldn't find any pic of him wearing glasses.



And now I really, really need to go buy my X-Files DVD.

Dev and Rieyll, any idea whether they're going to bring back AXN Beyond or not? I need my X-Files fix, and Dark Angel, and more Lost and SPN with its amazingly horrifying subtitles :))

ETA I now have Mulder in glasses here thanks to shirebound!

I never really got into X-Files (maybe coz back then I was a shallow youngster and enjoyed tean soaps such as Beverly Hills 90210 :D), but I did catch this part of the episode on AXN Beyond while I was flipping channels. It made no sense to me since I did not watch the whole ep, but it amused me nonetheless.

And I have no idea. Stupid Astro making that channel temporary! I had fun watching Dark Angel, and making hubby watch random SPN episodes (the other day it was Ghostfacers during dinner, and he enjoyed it immensely!). Grr.

AXN Beyond will be soon in other Asian countries (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.). It is initially available in the form of a preview channel in Malaysia as part of the Astro Fiesta promotion. With the promotion ended on 18 January, it will presumably be assigned with a permanent channel number and a package.

Omg, I was laughing and laughing at that pie scene like a mad woman, what with Mulder and his deadpan face and that old man LOL.

You should watch it, Rie, to me it still beats any of the current big shows even, and hey, almost half of the SPN people came from The X-Files!

XFiles opened the way to the supernatural shows and sci fi shows. Pioneer and still everyone can watch the show.

The best thing is, even 10 years later it's still better tham most of the shows they have on TV right now, and Mulder and Scully are as hot now as they were then!

And I forgot to mention the Marlboro man, he was in 'Scarecrow', wasn't he?

I loved the X-files! I still do of course, but I haven't seen it since it ended so unfortunately there's so much I've forgotten. But I loved it! Mulder made me believe for sure. And yes, they are the cutest couple.

I saw the latest movie now in December and it made me want to go out and buy the whole series! Too expensive though. I wish they would run it on TV again.

I think they have this 'Best of The X-Files' on DVD now, but I want to buy the whole thing. Well, except the last couple of seasons maybe. I didn't quite like it when Mulder was no longer around!

That movie was creepy, wasn't it, and a bit gross, but Mulder and Scully in bed together more than made up for everything :))

Yay!!! You remembered that episode!! What I love most about the few comedic episodes in The X-Files was how deadpan Mulder and Scully were, their expressions were so priceless. I was holding on to my stomach, I was laughing so hard but there was Mulder and Scully looking as serious as ever!

Like I said to my brother, I bet they'd reinstill the channel in one of the package and, like, maybe make us pay extra or something. 'Cause they're evil like that. Taunting us with all that Jensen and then forcing us to pay. Hahaha.

I didn't really watch Beyond anyway, since I have the entire S2 of DA and of course all SPN episodes. Burned and ready to be watched in HD on our HDTV. ;)

Hee! Yes, glasses!Mulder is even hotter than glasses!Dean. I think a lot of men look better with glasses, actually, as long as they're the kind that are designed to look good, not the Clark Kent type.

I'm very much in the minority here, or maybe the only fangirl that thinks Jensen looks better without those wire-rimmed glasses. He's hot in sunglasses though, Jared too!

But Mulder in glasses, now that's HOT! I flailed every time he ( or Scully ) appeared wearing them!

I always love the X-Files... I've got all seasons on DVD now. :) There are so many connections between SPN and XF -- the cigarette smoking man is in "Scarecrow" on SPN, Duane Barry is in the Pilot episode... and many many others.

I would have LOVED it if Mulder and Scully were to make an appearance in SPN, as themselves, only that would be difficult since Dean already had mentioned them a lot. Unless it's in a dream-sequence kind of thing, or a comedic parallel-universe episode thingie, or something like that. For now I would just have to settle for the SPN/XFiles crossover fanfics!

I was talking to a friend a while back on how Dean would so hit on an oblivious Scully, with a mildly amused Mulder looking on, and Sam being bitchy about it!

I bought all the X-Files DVDs, except for season 9, which I hated, when they were on sale at Walmart, and watched them every day for weeks. And I agree, they're still as good as ever, and better than a lot of the stuff that's being put on these days. What a great picture of Mulder.

Season 9 was the one where Mulder was no longer around, right? X-Files was totally not the same without him. Thank God for the two movies, no matter how gruesome the second one was, it's awesome to know that those two are together, like they were always meant to be!

I wonder what it would have been like if we had LJ back then. I did go check the current X-Files comms they have but I was horrified at the slash pairings they have there. Mulder/Krychek wth? I hated Krychek, and seeing him paired with Mulder is almost equivalent to, I don't know, maybe Dean/Gordon? And Mulder/Skinner would be like reading Dean/Bobby! Eeeeeps.

They more than hugged, baby, they slept together!! But the left it as a cliffhanger on whether or not they had sex. Mulder went missing, Scully got a pregnant, the baby went missing and there was a big question mark on whether the baby was Mulder's or part of the government alien project. I lost interest when Duchovny was no longer around, and Agent Mulder was replaced by Agent Doggett in the last season.

But the second X-Files movie had them back together again, together as in living together, and they KISSED!!
