Those of you who've seen SPN 4.14, is it kid-safe? FYI, I let mine watch 9 and 10 but I threw the cushions at them during *those* scenes.

Yeah, I think so. I mean, there's some sex, but nothing as blatant as that flashback with Ruby.

Although, there is a death scene that involves some blood.

There's the strippers but it's nothing you don't see on the beach. The sex scene doesn't show you anything really except Sam's pretty back and a little bit of her without her shirt so nothing too graphic.

Um the violence was about normal not as bad as some less than others.

Okay, that's good to hear. I mean, with that title I thought it might be nc17 scenes all the way and they might as well not watch it if they had to cover their eyes every couple of minutes or so.

Heee...I got the episode. Haven't watched it yet, only sneaking at the last 5 minutes. You know me, I love to see how the story ends first.
But, I guess it's not a kid-safe episode, because you know, there'll be S-E-X.

Ahaha, there's always S-E-X in SPN. What do you call all those looks exchanged between the boys? Which unfortunately have been sorely missing during most of season 4 :(

I haven't got mine yet. Hey, you got yours first for a change!! I think there's something wrong with my connection, usually I could finish downloading within 45 minutes tops, now it's already 4 hours and I only got 40%. I've called for the ISP technician and hopefully he'd be able to do something about it otherwise I wouldn't be able to watch it tonight :((

Yeah, today is the new record in a matter of speed. I subscribed to MegaUpload and things are looking good since then. The speed sometimes up to 100kbps, using MU download manager.
Wheee....today, the download finished under an hour!

Welllll... the scenes of "strippers" doing some pole-dancing is not good for girls' sense of self-worth. No nipples or anything, of course, because it's TV, so it's not as raunchy as what you get constantly in movies, but still.

The stripper scene is raunchier than the one in 'Heart' I take it? Which could hardly be called a stripper scene I suppose since we only got to see Dean's face berween those legs. Hee hee, God, Dean's face :))

Yeah, raunchier because we got some grinding ass shots with only a tiny bit of fabric. I'm no fan of strip clubs, or of strip clubs constantly used in movies and TV shows.

I think that no SPN episode was ever meant to be viewed by children. The sex is just the most harmless part. I wouldn't really mind my kids to see that. It's a natural thing. The gore and violence on the other hand is anything but natural.
