A magical read.

The Doors of Time : Part 2, completed.
I spent the better part of yesterday reading the second and final part of
felisblanco's Doors. "Reading" is an understatement actually, I was wholly immersed in Jensen's enchanted world, and I swear I levitated a couple of inches in more places than one it's that magical.
Reading it, I was half-afraid that I would find the magic diminished with both Jared and Jensen now all grown up, the way Susan and Peter lost their Narnia magic, but no, it's there strong and beautiful, just the way it was when they were kids. And I was kind of anxious on how the author would bring Jensen back, the anxiety was almost as bad as during the wait on how Kripke would bring Dean back from hell. And I'm happy to say that
felisblanco delivered, and more!
The story is, to put it in a nutshell - awesome, amazing. Magnificent. And listen to this to summarize the whole mood of the story.
I do hope my non-SPN friends would give this story a try. I know it's hard to read outside your fandom, God knows I tried with SGA and Sentinel, but this is an AU, and I guess you could imagine your own OTP in place of Jared/Jensen, the story is so not to be missed!

Date: 2009-02-27 11:11 am (UTC)The commentaries that accompany the soundtracks pretty much gave an overview of the whole story but they're very spoilery! They're here (http://felisblanco.livejournal.com/854766.html) and here (http://felisblanco.livejournal.com/860756.html).
