Okay, this man has been sort of under the radar for me all this while, I can't even remember what songs his did before! Maybe because he looked kind of ordinary with that sweet, boy-next-door look ( though he did remind me of Joey from Friends ), and maybe because he was overshadowed by Adam Lambert ( for me that is ) whom I'm still rooting for btw, and Adam was GREAT last night.

But Kris Allen? He blew me away with this performance last night. Even hubby who's not a fan of AI said that Kris was great, even better than Adam he said. And we were just saying that any performance done after Adam would be an anti-climax then whamm, Kris gave us *this*

I didn't get David Cook until he sang 'Hello' so maybe it'll be the same for Kris Allen. Unless he screw up next week of course!


And OMG, I love that song! I especially love it because it's part of the soundtrack for felisblanco's Doors of Time ( and if you haven't read that one you should! ), and that song was when Jared and Chris were worried that Jensen was losing his magic when Jensen stopped dreaming and the piano stopped playing by itself and I was freaking out that that was the end of Jensen's magic. The one sang by Eve Cassidy is gorgeous but I think he managed to top even that!

I love Kris. I am not an Adam person. He has incredible voice but not radio power to me. I think he would be annoying. Kris can be boring but he has potential and damn if he isn't adorable. He kinda of has that Elijah facial strength to me. He isn't big but he is comfortable and himself and adorable.
I really think the huge talent is Allison. She is unique and powerful for 16 and with an honest and fresh personality.

Oh I love Allison too! She and Adam were my original final 2 for AI this season, but now that Kris is also in the picture I can't decide which of them would be the two finalists. I hope they'll be the final three.

At this point, some will suddenly step up while others just won't get it. I'm glad Kris is improving, because he's more *my* kind of singer.

But I still think Adam will win, and that Allison is headed for big time also.

I was really impressed by Kris, too, and like you, he hadn't previously made much of an impression but now he kind of intrigues me. Here's hoping he starts to bloom like DC did last year--they both seem to have that down-to-earth sweet guy vibe, don't they? And it was great seeing Mr. Cook sing last night. I love his album--one of those 1 million that put tears in his eyes is mine. *grin*

Just knew about the results. Oh dear, Allison was in the bottom three, again. Why aren't there more people voting for her?

When they put them in three groups I was so afraid that Kris was going to be in the bottom 3 because the other 2 were Matt and Megan. Then I thought it's the last group -Anoop, Scott and Danny. Phew!

I've really liked Kris the past couple of weeks, but he was especially good this week. I really loved that version - he's really surprised me! :D

I haven't seen the results yet but i must make sure to tune on tomorrow when it's on over here - can't wait to see David Cook! :D

I'm going to check out his previous performances because I honestly can't remember any of them! Result night was heart-stopping, the way they arranged the contestants into three groups. And David Cook rocked!

Wow, I haven't watched AI in ages but I guess I'm gonna have to watch the rest of this season. I knew Adam was good, but had no idea that Kris was this good too. Awesome version of this song.

He's awesome, isn't he? I wasn't really expecting anything from him and I thought Adam's performance was hard to top, but Kris did it and more. Watch out for Allison too, she's got an awesome voice ( makes me think of Bonnie Tyler ) and she's only 16!
