I have a feeling I won't be happy with the new SPN episode.

Would I?

It was an awesome episode!

It was sad though and if you're squimish it's about Family Remains gross maybe a little worse.

I thought it was great.

Oh no, I'm not squeamish at all. That EW article which jokingly refered to that boy ( man? ) as the brothers' magical son or something is the only thing that makes me want to watch it! But if you said it's an awesome episode ... *looks forward to it*

Does that help at all?

Thanks! I googled "penguin babies", I think, and then made it.

Oh yes, it does. I saw your post and it made me feel good. But there're some cuts that made me go "Oh no ...".

I've seen a couple of those, too, but it seems like the majority liked it. *shrugs*

I loved it! I thought it was smart, suspenseful and heartbreaking. Don't listen to the haters.

Oooh thank goodness. I'm already upset just from the LJ-cuts.

I liked it more than I expected to, actually. I saw the director's cuts or whatever, and wasn't sure, but the actual episode was pretty good, but extremely gross, IMO.

Metamorphosis-gross? I don't mind gross. But I hate poorly-written stories, the ones that leave me feeling ... nothing, and there *have* been a few. But at least four of you here love it so I'm feeling hopeful.

Yeah, Metamorphosis level of gross. That one really bothered me, but hey, with this show, we shouldn't expect sanitized gore, you know?

I liked how they handled some things; others not so much. Overall I'd say it's a good episode, and as a Sam fan I'm happy to know a little more about what's going on in that "freakish Cro-Magnon skull" of his. We should discuss this ep a bit when you've seen it!

I hope it's not that bad. :)

I hope not, too. Bad episodes are such let-downs. To me, SPN would have this run of excellent episodes, then a run of mediocre ones then, unfortunately, a run of bad ones. The last four have been EXCELLENT for me so I'm so afraid that the last four would either be mediocre or bad :(

You know what sucks? Being able to download the episode (AND Smallville) in record time because for some reason the internets are being really cooperative but not being able to watch it just yet because I'm at work. Grr. *glances at clock again for the millionth time*

My download transfer rate is still bad, has been for the past three weeks. The episode's downloadable today, even though it's at a snail's pace. But I'm just thankful that I can still download it. Most days it's just plain impossible to download anything.

Streamyx sucks *sighs*

I've been refusing to watch SPN since I signed on for the Big Bang fic and I still might not finish it. *sigh* But after May 1st I'll get to catch up!

That's awesome willpower indeed! I got antsy even when I'm a day late in watching it.

And all the best with the Big Bang, Jen :)

It was awesome, imo. And strange thing is I came into it trusting Kripke, which should result in disapointment, but I was not disapointed. I hope you like it as well.

I hope so, too. I hate it when an episode feels flat to me. It makes me feel depressed for days!

From: [identity profile] evening-spirit.livejournal.com
Oh, flat it's not! I don't know, peoples opinies vary, but to me it was very-NOT-flat. What's the opposite of flat? I think it's one of those episodes that had so much in it, you will only begin to process it long after it aired. Family drama at its best.

Dian, I'm still having problems downloading. Should I pay for the premium MU downloads? I'm hesitating to do that because all this while when my download was okay, I was using the free regular download, and my download was really fast, I didn't have any limits in downloading, which in retrospect I think is odd because they said with the free regular download, the dl speed is the lowest and there's a limit to how many you can dl within 24 hours.

So, in your opinion, me being able to dl fast and without limit, was that a fluke? Should I pay for the premium download?

Date: 2009-04-24 11:21 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] ala-tariel.livejournal.com
I think so, yeah. Because when I use the free reguler, the speed is just the average, like usually in my office. But when I use the premium, and using their download manager, the speed is way up faster, sometimes it's impossible to have that kind of speed in my office.

*sighs*

I just knew that those free fast downloads were too good to be true ...
