I did it.

It's done.

My tax returns. All the forms completed and signed, ready to be mailed after 4 months lying in my drawer. Oh how I hate doing that ( the filling-up, not the procrastination ). Almost as much as I hate cleaning the toilet. But it's all done now. Into the mailbox today. To clog the postal service along with the other-wait-until the-last-minute-taxpayers.

Yay!

Haha, I am going to do that today. Don´t know if this works the same way in different countries, but I´m gonna check the form and see if my income is right and perhaps if there are some way to get more money back from the tax. Quite boring. But if I can get more money back, it´s worth the trouble. Going to need some help though, my brother is coming over in a bit and look over my papers.

Oh, is your brother an accountant? How lucky of you to have him help you out. I have to get a tax accountant to help me. Hopefully I can do it on my own next year because that lady charged a lot!

All the books that I've bought but havent read yet came in useful when it comes to tax rebate. I'd rather use the money to buy books than pay taxes!!

All done, there really wasn´t much to do. And no my brother is not an accounter. But I felt that I needed a little help.

I think these things works very differently from country to country. Um, and I can´t even explain how it works here, my stupid english dictionary don´t cover these words. How annoying. Maybe I need to buy a new one that can deal with economics and business and such.

You can tax rebate for books that you have bought? The only thing I can rebate is for the gas I use when I drive to and from work, that´s pretty much all. And I need to "declare" (?) if I have sold some stocks and I earned/lost money for that sale. That was what I needed help with.

Good news is though that I will get some money back, not much but it´s better than to have to pay more at least.
=)
