Do read this if you hadn't already. It's Sam and Dean right after Lucifer rises and the world ends, what I really want to see for the opening scene of S501. The image of them buried beneath the rubbles of the church and what they do to keep each other alive ... that is going to stay with me for a long, long time. Reminds me a bit of what Sam did to Dean when Dean had his asthma attack in tru_faith_lost's fabulous Big Bang Something Golden.

Sam is bleeding and Dean is broken and a church fell on them and outside the world is ending and Dean really has no idea if Bobby will find them, if anyone will dig them out before one of them loses consciousness and they both suffocate. But Dean knows one thing. This is his brother, no doubt about it. Dean's been freshly reminded how much he would really really prefer to be alive instead of dead, and he doesn't know if he's going to get that, but he's not alone.

Another gorgeous piece by britomart_is. And she called it her procrastination!fic!

I do that too, read the shorter ones first I mean, while the longer ones keep piling up on my To Read List. How's your Big Bang reading? I've still got about 15 bookmarked.

I read that one yesterday while feeling very sleepy and I was yawning my head off ( as I am now ) but that fic woke me up proper!! And I love it when the gens get borderline/unintentionally wincesty :))

Sam in his shirtsleeves with his tie loosened is so hot! I remember him looking like that after he got back from his date with Sarah in Provenance, and the other one was in Sex and Violence I think?
