Date: 2009-10-07 01:05 pm (UTC)I'm biased, because my highest votes were for the actresses, not characters, actually - save from Meg. I loved Meg. As for Andrea, I liked her in Buffy (as briefly as I watched that) and I love her now in Dollhouse. Much more than that main character chick. And dear Deputy will always be one of my all-time favorite female characters, Dr Julia Heller from "Earth 2". That was one awesome show, with some fantastic strong female (and handsome male) characters. Too bad it only lasted one season. :(
And I found myself hating on most g-firends, lol (especially sweet Layla and Sarah). Guess I don't want girls coming between my boys, yeah? ;)
I didn't know that Tania Saulnier was mean about Jensen. O.O

Date: 2009-10-08 03:40 am (UTC)Let's see, the hardest for me to decide is Mary. I really liked Samantha Smith and the background of the character. But here, she's not on enough to make me feel one way or another except the tragedy her abscence caused on the family.
Another person I have no strong feeling for is Jessica. Again, she's not on long enough before she was dispatched. Less then Mary, I don't feel she had a big impact on the boys either. All I can say is oh well, sorry she had to die so young. But let's move on.
My favorite in S1 had to be Amanda and Layla. To me both of the character showed remarkable strength in a quiet way. A grace under fire. They are also two women who doesn't give out the damsel in distress feel.
In that sense, I also liked Kathyleen. She's a strong character, yet she also displayed she's capable of revenge.
Meg is delicious in her devious way. But she never got past her villianous way for me to feel sympathetic about her.

I mean, I would have done the same thing if I were her. I think. And I honestly can't tell whether most people hate her because Dean loved her or Cassie said no to her. I'm thinking it's more of the former but I could be wrong of course.

As far as I know, Tania Saulnier said she find "scary" dating actors (http://anonym.to?http://www.sequentialtart.com/article.php?id=342), but Jensen wasn`t the only one she dated (and we don't know the tone of the interview). She also said that her "experience on the set of Supernatural was nothing but fun". Anyway, I love her character and I thought they had great chemistry together.
