I didn't really follow the American Idol auditions, just watched bits of it here and there. But today I watched the whole thing, and oh my, Neil Patrick Harris was awesome! I haven't really seen him in anything since he was this wee doctor,



but watching him on AI just now made me want to start watching 'How I Met Your Mother'!

Anyway, I saw this pic of him walking the dogs with his bf.



Now WHERE are the pics of Jared and Jensen walking Harley and Sadie?? Annwyn!!

You know, I really think that Neil Patrick Harris will make a good replacement for Simon if he left the show.

I like him enough, I've seen a few of How I Met Your Mother, and enjoyed it enough. But not for me to follow too much. I have a thing with the How I Met Your Mother acronym going around. HIMYM Grr, it annoys me. And the titel just puts me off too. But when I watch it its nice. *rolls eyes*

I gotta tell you, I have been really turned off by AI this year. With all the people they turn away who are decent, I get tired of them giving airtime to the outrageous. But, yesterday when I saw Neil Patrick Harris I totall flipped out! I thought the same thing, he would be perfect to replace Simon. He is so hot and gay and freakin HOT. My son, 9 even liked him (ponders that). Damn he has a cute boyfriend and is so tall. I would have preferred him to Ellen. I love Ellen but don't like the jokes in between.

Ellen has appeared? I missed her episode!! The other guest judges that I've seen, I thought they were rather ... dull, though to be fair to them I didn't watch the whole show so they might have their good moments, I don't know. But NPH, I thought he even eclipsed Simon at times!

No, Noah hasn't seen Doogie...but he that Neil Patrick was super cool and cute. Ellen hasn't been on yet. She is doing it after the selections. She is one of THE judges, replacing Paula. Actually, I didn't like Doogie when I grew up, but he is super HOT now and gay and out and proud and normal and hot! I love that.

He made me want to watch the show!! HIMYM, I mean. He was really great as a judge, he wasn't boring and I thought he was sincere in his critics. I hope we'll get to see more of him on AI :)
