Michael in young!John, I fairly jumped out of my chair I LOVE that so much. What a way to introduce Michael into the show. And that talk that he had with Dean eeeeeeeee!!

Mary and John .............. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ... and the angel for 25 cents ... awwwwwwwwwwwwww ............

Your darling little Sammy OMG!!!

Be still my heart .... now that's an episode I'll be watching over and over and over again.

On a more serious note - I have a bad feeling about them saying yes to Michael and Lucifer. Not bad bad but bad as in the inevitablity of it. Maybe Dean thinks that he's saving Sam by saying yes to Michael, and Sam wants to save Dean by acquiescing to Lucifer. Maybe, I don't know.

Subconsciously, Mary must have retained some memories of the incident. It's unfortunate though, that her encounter with angels had to be Anna in that mode. Btw, I thought the fight between Anna and Mary was AWESOME! I was rooting for Mary like anything, and I was so, so happy when Anna burnt to death.

For me, Castiel was, is, and always will be Dean's guardian angel ... *happy sigh*

ps I bet there'll be a slew of Dean/Castiel/Sam threesome fics after this, for that last scene. Heh, and I'm so NOT going to read them!

Have you seen Tru_faith_lost's post on that episode? Reading that, it just struck me that Michael might have had a hand in that angel thing, that he had probably left her a sublime message or something, that an angel would always look after her children ( Dean in particular ). What do you think?

No I don't really read very many reviews anymore, too much negativity when all I want to do is enjoy it. Know what I mean?

There's really only one person who I read that does a complete review and that's tiana but I do look at yours and muni's because even if you don't like something you don't harsh my squeeeee. I'm just too terrified to open anyone elses.


I'll have to check it out, however I wonder if it was just Dean that they left someone looking after or if it was the fact that Mary's life was cut short for that paticular thought to be passed on to Sam since he didn't know anything about it until Dean said something about it. He was just to young even if she did do the same thing with him, which I could only assume she did.

I can't seem to shake the beleif though that they've always had a special interest in Dean, it's just in some of the inflections they use when speaking to him and sometimes in the actual words that come out of their mouths too.

Oh definitely. Though I think Dean thought he was Daddy's son before, but we know better eh, especially in terms of what Dean said to Sam in 'Jump the shark'. I wonder whether Sam ever teased Dean about being named after Deanna :D

And the parents too. I thought the actor who played John ( Matt Cohen I think? ) was great especially with the change that he brought to John when he was being Michael. I love that so much you have no idea because I had been waiting and wondering when and how Michael's going to be introduced into the show.

We met both of the parents at last years Asylum. She was rather shy - as was he - but she's gorgeous and he has the most amazing eyes.

Now you can see why I was biting my tongue so hard. I was dying to say something in the other thread where we were talking about John. Hey btw, thanks for the episode still link. I've never seen those before!

And that was always my theory from the beginning that if Sam will say yes to Lucifer, he would only done so to save his precious Dean! ;-)

Lucifer seemed pretty confident in The End that even if Dean capitulates to Michael, he wouldn't kill him because Dean wouldn't kill his brother. So in the end, Lucifer!Sam would kill Dean, hence the Cain and Abel (with Dean being Abel). Hmmm... I gotta ponder some more on this.

Heheh, so Dean did have his dance with his father again, not quite the way I envisioned it but it was good enough for me. I still want JDM!John to make his appearance though * is greedy*

I think, hope, that the boys, Dean especially, will re-write their own futures. They HAVE too **sobs**

AND I LOVE MICHAEL IN JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I squeed the loudest there, even louder than when Michael said "your darling little Sammy" and that was very loud indeed ( though with a lace of omg Michael said that? )

I keep watching this ep over and over again, I love it so much! The look on Sam's face when he met Mary, the talk he had with his father, it was so touching, and when Dean tells Mary that they're her sons, and Sam saying it's best if they're never born... oh, boys! Calling out to each other as Sam's dying, and then "your darling little Sammy" (god, I love that line!)... what a surprise to see Michael in this ep! And the ending gives me chills.

I have to admit, I've been falling in and out of love with Show this season, and I haven't been particularly impressed coming back from hiatus. But this ep? MY SHOW IS BACK BAYBEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Oh, and did NOT see the Michael twist coming! That was an awesome awesome surprise! Also, Sam's little "Dean..." as he 'dies'..

I know, right? I was so afraid to expect anything much from this episode and I had read some people saying that this episode would rock but I didn't want to expect anything and then it turned out to be PERFECT!!

I didn't see that Michael twist coming either. You know when I saw that light washing over young!John my first thought was the spirit of John ( JDM!John I mean ) time-travelling back from wherever he was and when Anna said "Michael" - I was like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! That was one of the best moments in the show for me **happy sigh**
