Summary : Orli's sister Sam went on vacation to Vegas and the boys agreed ( at least Elijah did, Orli just went along ) to take care of her baby for the weekend. No sex. Fluffy.

WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
Elijah groaned inwardly. He lifted his head reluctantly from Orlando's warm chest. The luminous dials on their bedside clock showed that it was 4 o'clock. In the morning.
He sighed. Only an hour had passed since the baby had last cried for her milk. And this was the fourth time baby Kaitlin had waken him up that night
Good God, she couldn't be hungry again!
Elijah pulled the blankets up over his head and tried to ignore the wailing from the next room while Orli continued to sleep peacefully.
Trust him to sleep through all these," he grumbled silenty, praying that the baby would stop crying. No such luck.
"Orli, wake up," Elijah shook Orli's shoulders when Kaitlin's crying went up to Category 5 as Orli liked to call it.
"Nngghh, what?" Orli asked with his eyes still closed, his voice laden with sleep. One arm went around Elijah's shoulders, pulling Elijah close against him.
"Come on, wake up," Elijah said again. He lifted Orli's arm away, not without some regret. "The baby's up and it's your turn now."
"Huh? Wasn't it my turn before?" Orli mumbled.
"Nope. I had been up three times already and she is your niece."
"And whose idea was it to take care of her while Sam and Jon are having fun in Vegas, like, right now?"
"Aww shut up," Elijah said, pushing Orli off the bed. "And put something on. Kaitlin shouldn't be seeing you all naked like that."
Elijah grinned as Orli yawned hugely, searching for his boxers with his eyes still half-closed. Elijah was quite wide-awake now and he could have gone to see to the baby but he'd be darned to be the mummy around here, even if it was only for the weekend. His grin turned into a leer when Orli went down on his hand and knees, giving Elijah an eyeful of his naked butts while he groped about in the semi-darkness for his boxers.
"Don't be long," Elijah's voice was husky with sudden desire, seeing Orli on the floor just like that.
"Yeah, yeah," Orli mumbled, putting on Elijah's boxers.

Elijah glanced at the clock again. Almost an hour had passed and still Orli had not returned to their bed. The baby had ceased crying a long time ago.
Feeling rather put out, Elijah got up, pulling the blankets up around his middle. He padded to the room next door and cursed under his breath when he stumbled against something.
Kaitlin's Barney.
His annoyance disappeared almost at once though, when he looked up and saw Orli sitting on the armchair by the window. There was a bottle of unfinished milk on the table in front of the chair. Orli was fast asleep with the baby snug in his arms. Kaitlin was cooing softly, with her liquid-chocolate-brown eyes wide opened, Orli's eyes, Elijah thought. Her chubby fingers were rubbing at the stubble on Orli's chin.
Kaitlin looked up at Elijah. She stared at him as if asking Elijah to be quiet and let her Uncle Orli sleep.
And Elijah simply melted, there was no other word for it, at the sight of Orli and the baby, bathed in the moonlight coming in from the window, giving them both a surreal-like appearance. He tiptoed softly towards them and squeezed in beside Orli, putting an arm around both of them. He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep to the warm sleep-smell of Orli and Johnson's baby powder.

With my daughter, I used to have to wake up about five times a night to feed her - she was such a hungry baby. Very contented, but with a short sleep span! My son was more settled. I fed them both myself - I understand bottle-fed babies sleep for longer periods generally. But boy, I remember the tiredness and I also remember waking up with a start on many occasions, thinking my daughter was on the bed somewhere, only to find she was safe and sound in her cot!
