I might have cried a little bit more for Bauer than I did Shephard. And with that ending? They just have to make a movie out of 24. With Arlo in it I hope. I like him!

*yawns*

Almost 1 am here. Watching two 2-hour finales is taxing. Good night ...

With these shows ending, they're leaving big holes in the television schedules.

Night night, dear.

Good morning! :D

Though I guess it's now around 9 or 10 pm on your side of the world.

I'm hoping to be able to catch some movies, I've got quite a number that I want to see but haven't got the time to watch yet.

Oh, I haven't watched the finales yet. But I'm looking forward to.
I hope they will show the re-runs. Because I'm sure I missed them already.

Are the finales good? My bro is following 24. But not "Lost" I guess.

The finales are good! I enjoyed both, 24 more than Lost. I'm going to miss the show. This is the first season that I watched it, and unfortunately it's also the last.

24 is good. I watched until Season 3 and skipped into the last one. Season 8, right?
Lost. I only enjoyed the first season and lost interest for the next. I don't know, they should have stopped at Season 1.

I watched Lost seasons 1 and 2, and the final season. I think Mark Pellegrino had a hand in making me want to watch Lost again!

Ah ya, Mark was there. :D

Ok. I still have 4 episodes to watch but I know a little bit about the ending. *sobs* Jack just never gets to be happy for long. :(

I am so so sad to see this show end. As much as it has both frustrated and annoyed me at times (plotwise) I do love this show and there has been many many great characters over the years. I miss them all.

I think the only reason they didn't kill Jack in the end is because they do want to keep the option for a movie possible.

They have made some cliffhanger endings for seasons before but you never really get the answers you want the next season cause it's almost always 1,5 year between seasons and whatever answers you wanted have already played out "out of sight". If they make a movie I don't think it will include events from season 8. BUt who knows.

I really hope there WILL be a movie! There is a script written as far as I know.

I hope there'll be a movie too, and with the finale's ending, I think there will be one!

I don't want to spoil you further with the last 4 episodes but I'd love to discuss them with you once you've seen them. And also, I downloaded the first episode of season 5!

1.5 year between seasons? That's long! There's less than 6 months hiatus for Supernatural ( thank God!! )

Oh. No I meant 1,5 years in the 24 universe. From where they ended one season to where the next picked up it was suddenly 1,5 years later story wise. Um. You know what I mean?

They aired the seasons, I think, a season per year but later seasons as they did this year only in the spring.

Oh okay, I thought you meant 1.5 years our time!

And also, I downloaded the first episode of season 5!

Hmmm. I just realized you're gonna see things differently than me when you watch this... You have to forget everything you learnt about ex-president Logan in season 8. (Do try!)

What you have to put your mind to is that all we knew previously of Logan was that he was the vice president that had to step in very late in season 4 because the current president was... um... I think killed. (Season 4 president really was the ONLY president that didn't have any focus in 24 and I honestly don't remember him well) However, Logan couldn't do the job without calling in ex-president Palmer for help... (Palmer was main target season 1 and was the president season 2 and 3)... so for all we knew Logan was a person that just didn't seem able to make a decision and frankly seemed like a huge coward to me. So that's basically what we knew of President Logan when season 5 started.

Sorry if I blabber too much but I really think that not truly knowing Logan at the start of season 5 is partly what made it so great.

*mwah*

The Americans called their ex-president "Mr. President", eh? I was confused at first, another president>? Ugh, I hated him, he was so ... self-serving! But I'll try to look at him from a different angle for season 5.

I loved that he came back again but I seriously don't get how he was allowed to come back and be around the politic scene. Yeah, he's slime alright. He plays the role very well. But we didn't know him well at the start of season 5 so it was fun wathing him. And well, you'll see... Love to hate him!

What was it exactly that Jack was looking at, when he looked up at the skies? The satellite that conveyed his images to CTU?

How did you feel when Renee died? I think I would have been affected more if I've seen her in earlier season(s). As it is, I was more shocked at Dana Walsh's death, esp when Jack shot her at point-blank. And that torture scene of Jack and the guy who shot Renee ... Jack really went slighly insane there, didn't he?

Yeah, I think it was some kind of satellite. I think you could see a shiney dot in the sky. Or something. A bit... convenient.

I didn't really get the right feeling when Renee died. Mainly I think because I found her so different from season 7 and I didn't really feel the chemestry between her and Jack in season 8. I was still sad though. For Jack. (The only "love interest" for Jack besides his wife that worked for me is Audrey and she was in season 4,5 and a little of season 6.)

I think I've worked up a certain tolerance of Jack over the years so I can still like him even when he does wrong. I was wondering how you would see him as you haven't followed it before. I mean I wanted you to at least like him a little bit but I knew he's not an easy guy to like. He's definitely not a hero without huge flaws.

Yeah. Unfortunatley, he has no problem taking out revenge on people, like he did with Dana. :( It is shocking for sure but he's done that quite a bit actually. If you saw the first episode of season 5 you have already seen that there too.

But now, that torture scene... I'd say he went desperate and insane. That was really awful! I am very glad Chloe managed to convince him not to kill the president. I really didn't want to see him do that.

I think I didn't quite connect to Jack going berserk over Renee's death because I didn't know her from before. If I did, I would probably have connected to Jack/Renee more. Not to say that I didn't like Renee, I did, it's the Jack/Renee that I didn't fully "feel".

I like Jack Bauer's character! I think Jack is a kickass guy and Keifer Sutherland a great actor.

Btw, did you see the episode of SPN where Annie Wersching guest-starred? I love her character in that episode where she played a soft-spoken single mother worried about the fate of her haunted, family-inherited hotel. She's one of my favourite female characters from the show and I wish that Dean had hooked up with her!

Yay. I like that you like Jack/Kiefer!!! I think he's a great actor. I really like him. Hee.

No I haven't seen her in SPN. Oh did you know she's pregnant? I think she's married but not sure.

She's pregnant now or during the show?

She's pregnant now. But she must be a couple of months by now. Not sure how far. Haven't been on twitter in ages since I really did try to avoid 24 spoilers this time. I did congratulate her when it was announced though. Hee. :D
