Jun. 22nd, 2010 05:01 pmOn the advice of
suzy_74 *waves*, I'm currently watching 24 season 5. One, because Sean Astin was in it, and two, Suzy said it was one of the best seasons and yes, I agree with her, it has been very thrilling so far!
And also, Mark Sheppard! That was a very pleasant surprise indeed, seeing him playing a different kind of demon.
Sean Astin made me think of CEO!Sean in
lbilover's Woodjin verse. You know, before he became a doctor and went off to stay at the Pines.
See? :))

He might be in New York but his mind was miles away with Elijah.

Sean chairing a meeting at his company, all those decisions to be made! The merge, Chris, Elijah!

Sean calling Elijah, he missed his woodjin so much!

The Woodjin by
lbilover, which I love, and I don't even ship Sean/Elijah! I'm still hoping that the Woodjin would meet Sam and Dean one of these days though :DD

I definitely do want to write that crossover one of these days
I'm holding you to that!
Lol just kidding. It'll probably be very hard to write something which you're not into but hey, it's the thought that counts **HUGS**

Date: 2010-06-23 12:20 am (UTC)No, seriously I really do want to write it (can't guarantee exactly when, however). Does SPN have any online episode summary site or encyclopedia?

Date: 2010-06-23 01:41 am (UTC)Here's one site where you can get a summary of all the episodes.

I have this story in my head where the brothers hear of the woodjin and they go to Pine Barrens to investigate. Dean ( the older, shorter, prettier *g* brother ) is all gung-ho in hunting him down ( maybe they've heard some distorted versions of the woodjin, or maybe they're confusing him with the Jersey Devil ) though Sam, the brother who doesn't see the supernatural things in black and white the way Dean does, thinks that there may be more to the woodjin than meets they eye. Then, I don't know, maybe they encountered the Jersey devil and the woodjin saves them or something?
There's an episode in season 2 where they encountered a nest of vampires which weren't conventional vampires, they were actually good beings and Sam stopped Dean from killing them. Here's a summary of that particular episode.

Or. You can maybe write a crossover with rps Jared and Jensen! Are there any golf course near The Pines? Jensen is an avid golf player and he's always dragging Jared for a game so maybe they have an encounter with the Jersey Devil and the woodjin there!
Ooops, sorry for rambling :DD

Date: 2010-06-28 11:42 pm (UTC)Lynn Mitchell died a couple of episodes back :(
I thought that was a very fine performance indeed, Lynn's last moments on earth ...

Date: 2010-06-30 07:53 am (UTC)I've been dying to squee with you about this!!!
You're right, season 5 is very good. In fact, I'm beginning to think that it's even better than season 8. There's so many twists to it that at one time I even thought the First Lady was the traitor!
I'm at the episode where Evelyn, the First Lady's aid told Jack that she knew who was behind everything ( the girl who played her daughter was so much like her, I wonder whether the little girl was her real daughter. Any idea? ) and omg, the President himself! I didn't see that one coming at all!!
And yes, I know what you mean by seeing Samwise in Lynn :)

Date: 2010-06-30 08:30 am (UTC)There's SO many good characters in season 5. I LOVE the play between the President and his wife. He is so deliscious devious (once we finally find that out) and she is so... crazy and yet she's not really. Ahhh, wonderful.
Yeah, the President. Knowing what you did of him from season 8 I didn't think you would be drawn in by him like me when I saw it. :D
That's another reason why I love season 5, the plots really are more tighter I think, with all these characters and you sit there guessing and on your seat biting your nails. Think I need to see it again!
Hmmm, no I have no idea if that girl is her real daughter.

Date: 2010-06-30 08:50 am (UTC)One other thing I love about season 5 is the number of familiar faces in it. There's Mark Sheppard who played Ivan Irwich. He was an awesome, very likeable demon in Supernatural. Then there's Peter Weller ( Robocop!! ) who played Henderson, Henry Ian Cussik ( Desmond from Lost ) who played the German agent, Stana Katic ( from Castle ) who played Collete ( oh my, she was hot! ) and of course, Sean Astin!
One more, the VP was the actor who played The Reaper!

Date: 2010-06-30 09:37 am (UTC)Aww. Aaron is lovely. Season 5 is his biggest part in 24. He's one of the very few that could ALMOST join Jack as a character to be in all seasons but sadly he didn't turn up in season 8. Really wish he had.
