I was bracing myself for the angst because [livejournal.com profile] rieyll said she cried but I didn't expect to cry right from the very beginning. I couldn't keep my tears in check when they showed Andy all ready to go to college with the toys in their basket and the intro ( which was awesome btw ) was them remembering before.

I cried buckets during the last part ( and a few times in between esp the part when Woody firmly declared that Andy was their boy and it was their job to be there for him) when Andy played with them for the last time, and Woody choosing to stay with his friends. Oh there were plenty of laughs too ( KEN!!!! Spanish!Buzz!!! ) but I cried most of the time.

I was so glad there was no toy death. I was so afraid that would happen and I couldn't bear for that to happen - from Woody to Slinky, Jessie, Buzz, Mr and Mrs Potatohead, Rex, everyone! And my kid covered his face with his hands during The Escape lol.

I went out of the theatre with my face all red and puffy and I think that was the first time I cried so much during an animation movie. Love it!
