It's ( mostly ) about Dean these days lol. And it also helped that I had, like, about minus 300 expectations of that episode, and knowing absolutely nothing about it beforehand contrubuted to the ( totally unexpected ) squee too!

I know there are some people who enjoy TV a lot more when they can pick it apart and feel superior to the writers, but that's not my idea of a good time. I prefer to try to enjoy the episode. Sure, I get frustrated when things seem illogical, or characters seem to be out-of-character for no particular reason I can see, but I have faith the writers will get there eventually.

I'd love to know more about what's going on with Sam, but with Sera Gamble at the wheel, I'm not too worried. I think we'll get some Sam-insight pretty soon.

I downloaded it and didn't feel like watching it actually ( I knew absolutely nothing about the episode ). It was my boy who asked to watch and I was like, ooookaaay ... let's watch, and what a wondeful surprise that was!!

I was waiting for someone to make a comment on them being the baby's two daddies ( you know, when they were shopping for the baby's stuff and all ) and I was somewhat miffed when that didn't happen lol. But otherwise, it was an adorable episode. The babies just adored Dean, didn't they?

Maybe they thought it would be just too obvious? They knew some of the fans would take that particular ball and run with it, and the ones who don't actually want to see any Wincest could enjoy the episode without being upset. A very careful tightrope walk right there!

You know what, me too. On the outside it looks as if Dean always looks up to his father but what came out was the first thing he had in mind and that's not John. Perhaps Dean is more afraid of John than he loves him. :( As for Sam, perhaps it's true that he actually is his father's favorite. My poor Dean. *sniffs*

Maybe so much had happened with regard to John, them finding out about Adam for one thing, and Bobby has always been there for them, so IDK, maybe that was why his was the first name that popped up in Dean's head?
