layne67Last night's The Amazing Race Asia was so awesome! This is the first time they're airing the original TAR at the same time as TARA and while both are great fun, I'm thinking that for this time around, TARA is a bit more awesome than TAR. Oh I'll always like Phil better than Alan but maybe because I can emphatize with fellow Asians much better and to a certain extent I know the way they think better than I do the Americans. Maybe.
Anyway, go Ethan and Khairie!! I'm rooting for you two guys all the way. And oh, I'm so giving Husband Of The Year award to you Ivan, you poor man. ( The first recipient being Henry of Terry & Henry of course! ). Richard & Richard could so take a pointer or two from Marc & Rovilson. SMILE, you guys!
I can't believe that Rebel Girls didn't know why the Bollywood girls yielded them *rolls eyes* And I'm glad that the two taxi drivers stood their ground and demanded that Mr and Mr Lazy pay their fare. That was good drama, having the angry drivers at the mat lol. Dad was awesome at the sewing machine.
I think they'll still be in Sri Lanka for their next leg. The trailers for next week's episode looks pretty interesting.

Don't get me wrong though, I love BOTH of them!
Brenda of Survivor continues to be amazing. Omg she's so cool and so smart *fangirls her* I don't quite like Nay but I hope she won't be voted out anytime soon as she's one of Brenda's strongest allies but how I wish she'd cool it down. And I hope Chase will continue to be on Brenda's side. There's just something so strong and good and trusworthy in the name "Chase". Like Chase Edmunds of 24. And House's Chase! I'm sorry to see Jimmy J gone last week. And even though I'm not a fan of Jimmy T, I think they should have voted out Dan instead. Next week looks like they're going to reshuffle the tribes. Now that would be extremely interesting!

Date: 2010-10-08 10:26 am (UTC)I adore Ethan and Khairie more and more! I love how awesome they are at tasks, and how calmly they communicate. Like when they decided to switch tasks at the Detour, there was no finger pointing or complaining. Just straight up decision right there. If it wasn't for the drama with their driver, they would've maintained their position.
I think it wasn't particularly smart of the Bollywood girls to use the Yield for petty reasons like that. I mean, a Yield this early in the race means that it is DEFINITELY a non elimination, so it was clearly out of spite. Not cool, and not strategic at all.
I laughed like mad when the Indian boys were trying to figure out the clue at the Axiata tower, and one of them goes 'so do we just press this thing?' and it was totally the right answer!
I'm starting to get a bit annoyed by that blonde-ish girl. The one who was yelling at her driver that he's an EVIL EVIL man.
Oh, the Indonesian dad was AWESOME at the sewing task! But then, a sewing task? It was pretty boring to watch.

Date: 2010-10-09 02:31 am (UTC)I'm glad that the eating challenge is over ( unless they have another ahead ). I'm kind of protective of Khairie, in case, you know, he has to eat yang bukan-bukan. And I kept thinking, dia sembahyang tak?
I wonder what Bollywood cousins spend their money on. Haha, maybe they should do what Jess and Lanie did omg, that was such a slutty thing to do, getting that money from those guys.
Did you manage to catch the repeat of TAR, the Ghana leg?
