This episode was watchable at least, because of Cas and the destruction of Sam's Plasticar. I HATED the season premiere, so I guess there was really nowhere else to go but up!

I'm afraid so, Lee. Not that I love Dean any less, but while there *are* some aspects of the new Dean that I'm not altogether happy with, Castiel had never disappointed me, and season 6!Cas, so far, delivers!

Nothing major, just a few small things here and there, things I mostly blame the writers rather than Dean per se, and I think Jensen the actor had managed to minimise the damage through the strength of his acting, and I'm thinking he probably improvised a lot!

Yes, i read about it too. I was told that actually he didn't feed the baby with a drink, he rubbed an alcohol in baby's gums. It's usual thing in US and it lessens the pain when the baby's teeth are growing.

I think I love him because he was there as a sort of a counterbalance to Ruby, the second Ruby I mean, I don't mind the first Ruby.

As I said to another friend, I probably wouldn't have liked him as much if they had introduced his character during the first three seasons. Now *then* he would have been the interloper, the third man, angel.

I haven't watched the epi and based on general post in my flist, I guess I will skip this epi. I'd rather wait for 6-04, Jensen's directorial debut. I hope he won't ruin SPN more.

Uhm, it's not about Castiel, but the show as a whole. It's out of line. Just like what happened with The X-Files. Honestly, I lost the interest to watch SPN now. Not even Sam half naked can make me watch.
And the boys' personal life also affected me. I don't have any thrill to watch SPN because of what happened to them in their real life.

I actually hadn't been expecting any Dean-moments at all this new season but we have that Dean/Impala soft porn, Dean-with-baby, construction worker!Dean, Cas-and-Dean having a bond ( omg that was absolutely priceless! ) and now episode 4 to look forward to!

And I totally agree with one of the commenters above. I told hubby that so far every episode this season is a huge step up from the premiere. But really, when you hate an episode as much as I did the premiere, everything else is gonna be awesome. Hehe.

Also also, I LOVE how the writers got rid of Sam's stupid car! And regardless if people think that this is a Castiel episode, I feel that Sam and Dean are so much more THERE than they have been in the past 2 years! Loved how they bickered about racing each other and mocking Sam's car and how Dean stood up for Sam when Sam was all pissy with Castiel and and... *dies*

Yes, THE BOND was exactly what I was talking about. Omg, Dean calling Cas "Do you copy?", I was shrieking with laughter at that. Jensen was awesome when he delivered that line, and his expression when Cas said that he didn't mean to tell about their bond LOLOL.

How I wish the whole premier was like that fic, that Sam came to get Dean the minute he got out of his cage ...

Having two cars while hunting together is so awkward, even if Sam's car was awesome, which it wasn't. Bye bye car!

BTW, have you read the panel transcript yet? It's pretty detailed and long and really funny too! I really love it when the boys are riffing off of each other. :)

I thought the whole scene in the motel with all three guys really played well. Cas was intense, funny, and clueless all within the same scene, plus all Dean's, just like good ol' Cas at his best. ;-) I rather like that Balthazar fellow, too, even if he did do some naughty things. He still seemed to really care about his friendship with Cas.

Can you explain to me the whole angels buying souls thing? Since it's an angel, where does the soul end up? Heaven, Hell, or just as a bargaining chip to get what one wants from demons? *Iz confuzzled* I've been confused about souls since the whole souls-in-a-suitcase thing happened last season, lol. You can carry one in a suitcase?!? Will it go through airport security? *cackles*
