With the premiers of my two favourite reality shows,

my TV night life is now complete.

Oh gosh, The Amazing Race:Unfinished Business last night was so much fun! I love all the teams ( with the exception of two teams but then you need them in this sort of show lol ), but oh, how I wish that they had brought back the teams from the earlier seasons. I love the brother-sister team from Season 1, and to see Reichen/Chip again ( though technically they wouldn't qualify since they had already won their million ), or Lena-Kristy ( the girls putting on lipstick before they faced Phil, I'd never forget that ), or Kelly/John and Jonathan/Victoria - their bickerings were so, so precious!

And I love it that they brought in Boston Rob and Evil Russell for Survivor:Redemption Island. I'm hoping that Russell would change his game somewhat. Surely after not winning in the finales two times running, he'd have learnt something? Yeah, I like him even if most times I felt like throttling him!

So. These are now my regular, not-to-be-missed TV shows, in the order of my level of anticipation and excitement in waiting for new eps each week :

1. The Amazing Race
2. Survivor
3. CSI:NY - ♥Jo♥
4. American Idol
5. Bones, House, Chuck
6. V, Primeval, SPN

For episode per se, SPN 615, despite my earlier misgivings ( still having them ) is currently at #4, mainly because it looks like it's going to be a comedic episode, and full-on SPN comedic episodes are now my favourites, since season 5 that is, and so far we only have that S-File episode which I enjoyed immensely from start to finish. Heh, I sometimes find myself wishing that SPN would be like Chuck - drama and action and angst with feel-good, rib-cracking laughter all around, all the time.

As for House, that episode with the cat omg!! Oh House/Wilson, despite the Sams and Cuddys and Ambers and Stacys, your love for each other will always shine true for me *draws hearts*

I'm glad there's such a fun twist on Survivor this season. That show just keeps on going, and I still love it.

I've sort of lost track of CSI:NY and Bones lately. There's just too much good TV these days, I guess.

Yup, definitely right there with you about SPN. Love the funny ones the best because they always find a way to mix in the right amount of action and drama into these eps. Not really sure about this one, still. I mean, I know it's going to be really funny but wonder, sometimes, if they've gone a little too far.

I watched only the start and the ending of TAR! I was like, wait a minute, how did the three teams from the 2nd flight all end up in the top three to finish??? (I've since read that there was a heart attack or something on the first flight?)

Of the current teams, I'm rooting for Gary and Mallory (LOVED them first time they were on, still think they're adorable now), and perhaps Amanda and Kris (?) just because the guy looks a bit like Jared Padalecki with his snow cap on. *g* Also, JUSTIN AND ZEV! \o/

And yeah, I do wish they'd brought in teams from earlier seasons (Ken and Gerard, Colin and Christie, Lena and Kristy.. just to name a few. I think Ken and Gerard had the ultimate unfinished business, seeing as how they went from first to a distant third just because they couldn't get a taxi. WOE!)

Lol yeah ... there seems to be more cringing than squeeing lately, but I still love the essence of the show and the Winchester brothers are still very close to my heart, especially Dean. And I still think the first three seasons of SPN are among the best on television, even better than some of the big-budgeted, award-winning mainstream ones!

And I'm hoping that Boston Rob and Russell will last all the way to the finale. A Rob-and-Russell face-off would be EPIC!!

I have so much love for Jo, the new character on the latest season of CSI:NY, played by Sela Ward. And of course, there's AJ Buckley. There was a scene once where Jo, who worked with the FBI before, laughingly told AJ Buckley's character on the show, that she *knew* what he's doing outside of CSI, that the FBI had a whole record of him. Buckley's reaction was absolutely PRICELESS and I was thinking "Ghostfacers"!!!

TAR has been my #1 since forever, even longer than SPN! It's currently at season 18, and each season is better than the last!

The way the teams from the second flight overtook the first group was awesome! Not for the sick passenger of course, poor him/her. So it was a heart attack? They showed the incident and at that time I thought it was one of the team members having a seizure, and we were, like, OMG!

I love Amanda/Kris!! They reminded me of Kris/Jon ( another one of my favourite couple, you know, the season which Fred/Kendra won when Kris/Jon were delayed at the train-crossing ), haha, I actually thought they *were* Kris/Jon.

And I love it when Ron seemed to bond with Mike ( or is it Mel? ) - two elderly, kickass fathers. Mel ( or is it Mike? ) is an actor, isn't he? I think he joined TAR because of his dad!

And Justin and Zev wore the Globetrotters shirts yay!

OMG Kris and Jon! Another one of my mostest favouritest teams EVAR! I really wish they had been called back. When I first saw the list of teams for this season, I too thought that Amanda and Kris were Kris and Jon.

I thought it was sad! Bittersweet sad. :( Although I liked Freddy and Kendra enough (what? I like pretty people! :D) but when they showed Kris and Jon hugging as the train zoomed past them, I was like awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! *sadface*
