layne67- American Idol Top 13. My favourite performance was Scotty's. My, I could, and I did, listen to him singing that song over and over and over again.
- 83rd Academy Award. I like James Franco but I thought there was something a little off with him hosting the show with Anne Hathaway, who was fabulous btw. I didn't feel any chemistry between them and he was leaning away from her most of the time and I don't think he even looked at her, not even once!

yourlibrarian wrote an interesting write-up here on what distinguishes RPF AUs and original fictions and 'Should more RPF "cross the line" and be turned into publishable original fiction?' My take on the latter is, for RPFs to get more readership, it should but not without considerable loss to the magic that makes RPFs special ie the characters themselves be it Jared/Jensen, Sean/Elijah etc etc. On the other hand, not a lot of readers would take on RPFs that are outside their fandom which I think is a great pity and I'm not only talking about other people because I'm sure that I'm missing out a LOT by not being able to read, say, the bandom RPFs.
