layne67Any fans of the TV sitcom 'Duet' aired some time in the early 80's starring Mary Page Keller here? I had a moment of confusion when I thought she was Mary Louise Parker. Saw her ( Parker I mean ) in the movie 'Red' and I was wondering how come she looked so young and that it seemed like she had hardly aged a day since 'Duet'. Younger-looking even!
Currently reading Children of Men by PD James. I wouldn't have read it if not for PD James being my favourite whodunit writer after Agatha Christie - It is the near future: no children have been born for twenty-five years. The human race faces extinction, the old are despairing and the young cruel - sounds so bleak and so not my cup of tea. But it's PD James ( and Clive Owen! ) and now I found myself engrossed in it. Interesting story!
And also, I finished The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time in a record time ( for me ) of less than a week. Finished it while inside the plane and I got a kick when my country was mentioned heheh.
