1. I just got back my computer from the shop. Sent it there for de-bugging but I'm still not happy with it. They had, what's the term, re-formatted it, installed a new anti-virus and the techinician said it was good to go. But they had also replaced my Vista Home Premium with Windows 7 and I'm not familiar with the layout and I also find it a bit slow - slower than when my computer got infected. So if I went LJ-silent in the next few days, that would mean that I've sent my computer back to the shop again.

2. Almost two-third of reading Game of Thrones and the one thing that I really want to know is Who Was Jon Snow's Mother? . When Cat asked Ned about it, she said something about a woman with violet eyes. Dany had violet eyes so could it be that Jon's mother was a ... Targaryen? *dies* And it just occured to me - Ice and Fire ... Jon Snow and the Dragon Princess? *dies and dies* Oh, and if you've read the whole series and knew the answer to that, DON'T SAY ANYTHING!!! But I love the idea of the Starks joining forces with the Dragons to get rid of the Lannisters. Though I guess with the dragons and all, Dany didn't really have to join forces with anybody. Unless there was blood-ties between those two families!

3. Revenge - Is Tyler in love with Daniel or something? Did he get Daniel roofied? Because it really looked like he was about to molest Daniel after he put Daniel in bed!

4. One thing that kind of bothers me a little in Terra Nova. The humans are on dinosaurial territory and sometimes they act as if they didn't know that the dinosaurs were dangerous. And, how to say this, they're the newcomers there and a lot of the time they made it seem like the dinousaurs were the intruders! Still watching the show though, just not that excited about it.

4. I gave up on Terra Nova after the third episode, I think. I just couldn't bring myself to care all that much about the characters. Yeah, you'd think they'd *get* that dinosaurs are dangerous, and probably more so because all these humans keep showing up in their territory.

The only person that I like is the father. The rest is all blah and the teenboy's girlfriend is so annoying I just want to slap her face. My boy enjoys it though so I'm still downloading, and watching, but I'm totally on the side of the dinosaurs!

My computer seems to be behaving itself now lol so hopefully I don't have to bring it to the shop again, or buy a new one. It was so lonely in the office without you guys to keep me company!

My boy asked me why Tyler was behaving that way and I couldn't tell him what I thought lol so I just said he was just being a jerk. Hee, when they were in bed in Jack's room, that was close, wasn't it? If that had been True Blood, Tyler would totally had had a go at Daniel woo hoo!

4. I didn't get past the second episode of Terra Nova... It's too bad, really, because the premise sounded so good.

3. Tyler... yeah, I seriously got the impression he was going to just go for it at that moment but I just don't know if that's really his end game. I mean, trying to get Daniel drunk all the time? Trying to get him in trouble with his family? Does he want to Daniel or does he want to be Daniel?

4. Over here it's touted as the most expensive series ever made and it got a two-page promotional article in the papers. I didn't read the article but I wonder if the journalist who wrote that had even watched it in the first place. And obviously, expensive + Stephen Spielberg does not equal to good!

5. He didn't actually act like the jealous boyfriend but is he really that stupid to think that he can replace Daniel in the Grayson's family? The mother totally dotes on Daniel!

Strange cause usually W7 is faster than Vista. I have it on all my laptops and like it. What anti-virus did they give you? Maybe it's the problem?

Haha, no one will spoil you about that question because no one but Martin knows the answer :) I didn't read the Book 5 yet but i've been told there's no answer also (and there some scary shit happened in the end but i'll shut up). Anyway there is that beautiful theory about Jon's mother out there and i hope it's true. If you want i post it here.

That's what the technician told me but it was pretty slow the first day after I got my computer back. But I'm happy to say that It's good now!

Yes, Janinelearner below said there's no answer yet, and she told me the theory about Lyanna being Jon's mother, fathered by Dany's brother ( the one who was killed by Robert ). I want to hear your theory!

2. I'm on book 5 and although I'm not finished yet, we still haven't been told who Jon's mother is or really given any proper hints. I have a theory though, I dont think he's Ned's son at all, I think he's his sister's child, possibly with Dany's other brother, the one that was killed when Robert took the throne. It's just a theory though and I would love for Jon and Dany to get together, they'd be gorgeous.

3. I think Tyler's a bit of a Talented Mr Ripley type character. I think he wants Daniel, but I think he also wants TO BE Daniel, hence wearing his clothes, taking his internship, lying get him to stay with him instead of going out. I'm very interested in seeing him get his comeupannce at some point cos I hate him.

2. It did cross my mind that Jon might be Lyanna's child but wouldn't Robert had known that Lyanna was pregnant? She was the love of his life, wasn't she? Unless Ned hid her from him and lied about her death. It's in keeping with Ned being the man he was as I couldn't see him with a woman he wasn't married to, whore or highborn. And that must have been his promise to his sister, not telling about who Jon's father was but oh, if that was true, how I wish that Catelyn knew about it because it pained me so much to see her hating Jon.

3. Aahh, I like the idea of Tyler being a Mr Ripley!

I can't quite remember, has Tyler made his apperance in episode 2? He's Daniel's best friend and it really seemed ( to me ) that he was jealous of Emily and wanted Daniel for himself!

Have you not noticed that us humans have a remarkable tendancy to assume we're better than the native inhabitants. Our ego is astounding and shameful. I mean we push wildlife to extinction we enslave different cultures than our own because we're bullies. Sometimes I want the whole race to have a lobotomy. :)

The thing that really bothers me about Terra Nova is that no matter what they do, they're going to mess up the environment. Humans weren't supposed to be around during the dinosaur ages and they're going to change things just by their presence there. So the future is going to be affected, somehow, no matter what they do. Maybe they're making everything worse. So they'll end up screwing up this "paradise" just like they did their own world. And they're all pretty stupid. Like you said, how can they not realize the dinosaurs are dangerous.

I know, right? And if the theory floating around about his parentage had any truth in it, Jon might even be a Targaryen! Read what Janinelearner said about it in her comment above if you don't mind speculations, and don't worry, it's not a spoiler because apparently it hasn't been said in any of the books.

And also, it might mean that Jon is one of the true heirs of the throne!!! Of course, there's the problem of his oath to the Night Watch ... Eeeeee, I can't wait for the next season!

And they're all pretty stupid.

That, and annoying as hell. I like the father but that's about it. The rest? Eat 'em, dinosaurs!

We watch Terra Nova all together and I think the main problem with it is that the dinosaurs just don't eat enough people!

I mean, come on, we've all seen Jurassic Park. The dinosaur in that ate someone on the loo. We need more dinosaurs and less teenagers. Teenagers are boring - unless they get eaten, of course!

The men with the black guns remind me a bit of the men in Primeval, a bit better in the sense that they at least used them. The Primeval hotshots only got to tote the guns around, they hardly used them!

Really, you never had viral problems? That's awesome and you're a good owner because my past three computers had been RIDDLED with virus every so often and I supposed it was the dubious sites I had been to :/
