Fringe 3x01 : LOVE that, very, very much. I was a bit anxious about it initially, mainly because I had mixed feelings about 2x01, and I was afraid that it was going to be like that. But nope, it delivered and it was thrilling and suspenseful from start to finish but oh, my poor, broken Olivia *sniffs* Peter and Walter and Astrid have GOT to know that alt!Olivia isn't their Olivia, my heart is breaking as it is ( hubby who's a huge fan as well, was just confused ). And speaking of Astrid, I adore the alternate version of her, and I think I've mentioned before that I love Charlie Francis. It's good to have him back ( with hair! )

SPN 7x16 : That was pretty good. I enjoyed that, quite a bit of me holding my breath there, and that hasn't happened for quite some time. The opening scene was extra creepy, love that. At one point, I really thought they were going to put Dean in those ballet slippers lol. Mmmmmm, the image ... And his face when he heard that Lucifer was singing Stairway To Heaven - fifty times!

Seeing Mary Page Keller was such a nice surprise. I used to adore her when she was in Duet, haven't seen her in anything since then, so that was lovely.

Not sure about 7x17. I know the bare minimum about it, not much, since I don't read the spoilers, and at first I was excited. I'm not so sure now. I'm so afraid they're going to make things worse *braces self*

Re: SPN, I thought it was pretty good, too. It's funny that, as far as I recall, no one mentioned the similarity to the fairy tale "the red shoes". It was about a little girl who coveted a pair of red dancing shoes, and when she put them on, there was no way to remove them from her feet, and I think the same thing happened to her as the first dancer.

From a clip I just saw from 7x17, I feel better about one aspect of it than I did before. Hopefully it will be a pretty good episode. I just hope they can start wrapping up some of the storylines so we'll have some closure for the end of the season.

I only vaguely remember the story of the red shoes. The first thing that I thought was the movie Black Swan. actually, and Natalie Portman. I haven't seen it yet but I knew that it's a horror movie ( I think? ).

I didn't see Black Swan, but I think it's more psychological horror. I re-read The Red Shoes, and the little girl ends up asking the town's executioner to chop off her feet ("dance you will, for dance you must"). I'm really getting tired of the Leviathan storyline, it never did much for me in the first place.

Oh God, me too. I think they're bordering on the ridiculous. Creepy yes, but not really scary in the chilly, spine-crawling way. But I rather enjoyed them in the last episode because I thought it was funny, the assistant for one, and I like Mary Page Keller, so.

These two were a little more amusing than the rest have been, but I don't feel a sense of dread. I guess they were having a hard time trying to top the Apocalypse, and Lucifer, and one or the other of the boys going to Hell, but yeah, they do seem more ridiculous than scary.

Note to writers: Gross does not necessarily equal scary.

Very true.

Hey, what are you doing, being up so late? It's around 4pm here so it must be around 4am there? Can't sleep? I hope you're not in pain?

Not exactly pain, but I wake up every couple of hours because my knee gets uncomfortable. I can't change my sleeping position, so I usually get up and walk a bit, and often seem to end up at the computer for a little bit.

I liked the last SPN too. Knew something was going to happen to the ballet diva, but it was shocking when they showed her after she danced her feet off.

That was horrifying. I think I gave a little scream when I saw the bloody stumps. Yikes

I wish they'd shown Dean in the ballet shoes. Heheheh. But I love how Sam reacted there. So full of concern and protective!

If it had been on HBO, Dean probably would end not only in those shoes but in pink tutu as well! Hmmm, I wonder whether there's any fanfics out yet on Dean ballet-ing :))

If not yet, I bet there will be. That would have been so much better. Especially with Sam sort of flailing around trying to figure out how to physically stop Dean from dancing. I always get a bit more involved with the stories when one of the guys seems to be in actual peril, rather than when it's suggested, then resolved before anything really happens.

There would have to be LOTS of body contact to be sure!! Maybe Sam lying on top of Dean, 69 position, trying to get those shoes off 0_0

They could have had SO much fun with that idea, I mean everyone, but especially Jensen and Jared! I'm sure even know people are feverishly working on fics.
