I saw this poll on the internet - TV characters doing the Hunger Games, which was fun - and I thought, if we had TV characters doing The Amazing Race, this would be my list of teams. Do tell, who do you think would win? And who would you like to be on the race as well?

1. Victoria and Daniel Grayson - mother and son.
2. Jack and Kim Bauer - father and daughter.
3. Jon Snow and Robb Stark - half brothers.
4. Dean Winchester and Castiel - long-distance relationship.
5. Sherlock Holmes and John Watson - room-mates.
6. Matthew Crawley and Mary Crawley - engaged.
7. Temperance Brennan and Seely Booth - in a relationship.
8. Walter and Peter Bishop - father and son.
9. Lindsay and Danny Messer - married.
9. Kathryn and David Nolan - bickering married couple.
10. Walden and Bridget Schmidt - divorced couple.
11. Arthur and Guinevere Pendragon - recently married.
12. Josh and Maddy Shannon - brother and sister.
13. House and Wilson - best friends and work-colleagues.

My final three would be, let me see - Jack and Kim Bauer because hey, he's Jack Bauer and Jack Bauer doesn't lose, heck, he'd do both detours and he'd still arrive first at the Pit Stop lol. The other two teams would be, hmmm, maybe Sherlock and Watson because brains and brawns together, always a sure winner, and ... maybe Victoria and Daniel Grayson, because I think Victoria would cheat and claw her way to the finale. Yes, those would be my final three.

Now if I have even a smidgen of talent at photoshopping, I'd be doing them with their backpacks and their red-and-yellow fanny packs, waving their clues with Phil looking on ( one eyebrow raised ).

It's a slow day at work.

Fun! Jon & Robb for the win, for me! The terrain might be totally unfamiliar, but something tells me they're very good at strategy and figuring out how to get from point A to point B, even without GPS (which would confuse the hell out of them). They work well together, but might have the occasional clash over decision-making.

And they'd have the wolves with them. The producers didn't allow them in at first, but Ghost and Grey Wind wouldn't have it any other way, growling at Jerry Buckheimer so ferociously and all :D

I think Jon would follow his lord brother. Oh, he'd pout and sulk a little, but his place is with his brother and he'd be with Robb to the end of the world if need be. HEE!

And I need a Robb and Jon icon so very badly.

That's true, I would think they would have been raised to track things and find their way around the woods, so those skills would help them. And the wolves, too! They should trust the wolves' instincts, and the other contestants will probably stay far away from them!

They'd have a HUGE problem getting the wolves into cargo when they get onto planes though. OMG, the howlings!!

They'd have a huge problem getting them through Security! And depending on where they were going the wolves might need to quarantined. Can't see that going over well. But the howlings if they had to be left behind? Not to mention how huge those things are! Security probably isn't equipped to deal with dire wolves!

I was reading the book and I just got to the part where Jon kick-assed leading his brothers defending the wall against the attack and that last para when Master Aemon said to him, "The wall is yours, Jon Snow." Aemon MADE JON SNOW THE LORD COMMANDER, didn't he??????!!!!??????

Sure sounds like it, don't it? I honestly don't remember when it happened, which book, but yes, at some point Jon becomes the Lord Commander.

I absolutely agree! Jack Bauer does not lose so that team would definitely come out on top. I also think Sherlock Holmes and John Watson would be in the top 2. Now, if you'd have listed Sam and Dean Winchester, I'd have picked them as #3, but even though I know Dean is a resourceful SOB and Cas has, you know, angel powers, I still think Cas would slow him down by asking for too many explanations so I'm going with Temperance and Seely. *lol*

Hee! I can just imagine Cas doing that. And also, since he's NOT allowed to use his angel powers, he'd be slowing them down and I see them being eliminated at maybe, the fourth Pit Stop. Mary/Matthew, Arthur/Guinevere and House/Wilson ( House's leg ) would be the first 3 teams eliminated I think.
