The Way Back by rainylemons, SPN, gen rating R, 35971 words, post apocalyspe-that-never-happens, AU after season five.
Summary: Sam and Dean and Cas settling down together. Dean is injured and Sam is not all there after his time in the cage and Cas is no longer an angel. They make it work.

I don't have the words to adequately describe this story. Suffice to say that it has more Moments in it than all of season 6 put together and that I had to pull myself together several times while reading it.

I'm hardly reading any SPN or J2 fics now, but "The Way Back" sounds interesting. I'll give it a try. :)

ETA: Now I'm craving Taco Bell, at 3:00 in the morning, and even at a reasonable time there isn't one I can get to easily. Bummer.

I think you're going to love Sam in that story. I cried at some of the parts, and not to spoil you much, it has something to do with a guitar, you'll know when you come to that part.

Sounds good! I haven't started it yet. I'm almost exclusively reading Glee fic, inc RPF. I am SO going to Special Hell! Maybe I need a nice SPN fic to break things up a bit. :)

Like I told Leelust, it's Cas-centric, but it's about him taking care of Sam and Dean who are both sick, in their own ways. So it's not about Cas Cas, but about Cas's Sam and Dean. I think you've started on it, so you probably know what I mean :)

Waaaaaa......I'm so glad you like the bracelet.

I was in Bali for a coverage. It's a yoga festival. A lot of yoga people there. I don't do yoga though. Well, once or twice a few months ago and that's all. :D

But, it's so much fun to be in that festival. It's in Ubud.

I bought the bracelet in a traditional market. You should see the market, Layne. It's like a usual market, but there's a section for crafts. They made me want to buy everything. :D

And the Natalie Verse. I love it. Very sweet, and yet very bitter sometimes. It's so sad to read about the little girl. But I enjoyed it.

I envy your line of work. You get to go everywhere and do almost everything. I'm very sure if there is an SPN convention in Jakarta, you'll get to cover it and do a one-on-one with Jared or Jensen ( or both! ).
