On another note, I'm so rooting for Mark and Bopper to be in the final three of the race. And Rachel ( Mrs Combat Pilot, not green!Rachel ) looked so pretty doing the Bollywood dance! And awww ... Dave looked so very proud of her.

Hah, it's karma for Art and JJ when they came to that task lol. I still remember how they had snidely said "This is why we didn't race with our wives" when Rachel and Dave were bickering in one of the earlier episodes. Any respect I had for them when they gave their prize money to Mark and Bopper ( and that was an awesome thing to do ) disappeared with them persistently putting down Rachel and Branden, and them harping on Rachel and Dave not U-turning Team Big Brother. That was extremely childish, quite unbefitting for one who's supposed to be in a position of authority back home. OMG, I can't wait to see their faces when they find out that Nary and Jamie are federal agents! ( My boy said that Nary and Jamie are probably secretaries or receptionists at FBI, since they're not as kickass as you expect them to be ).

Back to Mark and Bopper, I've a feeling that the producers intervened ( lol this is me being cynical and untrusting, again ), because seriously, Mark really looked like he was about to collapse. But since that was a non-elimination round, it wouldn't make good TV if they didn't complete the task and not get eliminated. But ANYWAY, I'm so glad that they'd still be around, so glad. Go Kentucky!

well, I said I wasn't born yet in the first one, and that wasn't true. I vividly remember the theme song for Dallas playing when I was a kid. It's just that I never watched television when I was young, and probably would not have been allowed to watch that show anyway, haha.

I was around 14 then. I was so supposed to be in bed when the shows aired which was quite late, around 11pm or so. I sneaked out of bed to watch them, esp Dallas, after the parents went off to bed, ready to dash off to my room at the first sign of them coming out of their bedroom. Lol that was the extent of my teen rebellion :D

LOL I actually liked both Dallas and Dynasty but Dallas got the edge with the "who shot JR" and the "Bobby in the shower" episodes.
I am assuming you meant Little House on the Prairie on the Mary or Laura question?

Dallas was aired first here and Dynasty came over much later. By then, I was so in love with Bobby and Pam that Dynasty had no hope of taking over. But I did love Fallon, mainly because she was played by Pamela Sue Martin who also played Nancy Drew whom I loved ( I ship Nancy Drew/Frank Hardy! ), And I also love the gay son, Steven, esp when he was played by the first actor.

I really miss Dallas. I heard that they're going to have a new generation of Dallas?

And yup, the Ingalls sisters, another of my favourite TV show back then. I see that you're Laura!girl :D

I loved both Dallas and Dynasty but I think Dynasty probably a little more as it was just that bit more glamorous.

Dynasty was certainly more glamourous than Dallas - it had Joan Collins! And the makeup! Oh my, I still remember those shoulder pads ...

I shipped Pam/Bobby back then and it still tickles me that we had a Pamela Barnes in SPN who was a friend of Bobby lol.

I feel so nostalgic for Little House now.

Never got into watching Dynasty, but i loved Dallas. Laura is still my favorite, but I like Mary, too. I watch the show a lot, it's on the Hallmark channel every night. :)

Dallas was my fix back then. I remember counting the days, waiting for next week's episode, and when it got nearer, I counted the hours and the minutes lol, I was that nuts about the show. I love Bobby/Pam so very much, and I was devastated when they had Priscilla Presley as Bobby's new love. I can't quite remember what happened to Pam/Bobby in the end. Did they get divorced and never get back together?

I saw your post, and it inspired me to make a Laura icon! :) Yes, her father called her Half Pint, and it was Michael Landon's nickname for Melissa Gilbert, too. The longer version of it is "half pint of sweet cider half drunk up", lol.

I was really eager to watch Dallas back then, too! I liked Pam/Bobby and it's sad that they didn't get back together before the show ended.

I watched Dynasty religiously, but I actually remember more about Dallas. Maybe it's just because it was on longer. (Didn't realize it lasted 13 years!) Feels like such a long time ago.

Okay, and Mary could be kind of whiny but I think it's just because it was obvious Laura was everybody's favorite. *lol*

We were too young to stay up to watch Dallas but we were allowed to see the theme song. Big tall glass skyscraper with a helicopter in front of it, I think. It made me think Texas must be one of the coolest places in the world at that age.

We didn't actually get the right channel to see Little House but at least I remember the show being on. All I got is what was in the books.
