Fringe 3x09
Jul. 2nd, 2012 04:12 pmOh my heart. My poor, poor Olivia. My heart broke along with hers at the last scene when she said that alt!Olivia had taken everything that was hers, that Peter should have known. Which I agree. Peter should have known. My only excuse for him is that he was in denial, that he liked beeing with an Olivia who "smiled more" and who readily agreed to bringing their relationship to the next level.
The other explaination is just too awful for me to contemplate. That Peter had actually fallen in love with alt!Olivia because of what and who she was, and not because he thought that she was the real!Olivia. And I'm thinking that that had occured to Olivia as well, hence her asking Astrid on how they were together.
It's no wonder that they didn't have Olivia's niece and sister meeting her. They would have known immediately that alt!Olivia wasn't theirs!
