Bumblebee picspam

I saw 'The Bumblebee Flies Anyway' the other day. The movie itself was rather slow. I'm afraid I dozed off here and there. Bit of a disappointment, that movie, especially when it was said that it was produced by the same people who came up with 'Dead Poets Society' and that was one of my favourite movie of all time.

But Elijah more than made up for everything. I've seen the screencaps for that movie all over LJ and some people have said that Elijah was at his most beautiful in that movie ( other than LOTR ). I agree with that statement wholeheartedly. Elijah will always be beautiful of course, but as Barney Snow - he was simply and absolutely breathtaking. I fall in love with him all over again, watching that movie.

Here are some of my favourite shots of Elijah. Every shot was beautiful and I had a hard time choosing the ones that I like best.

I love seeing him wearing this sleeveless shirt ( is that what is called a 'wife-beater'? ). I adore his slender arms, lightly muscled and with the veins showing tantalizingly when he was lifting that car-contraption thing.










That perfect, straight nose, his eyebrows, his delicate ear. That tiny frown that on most people would have marred their features but on Elijah it only enhanced his beauty.




And what I wouldn't give to run my hand through that soft, silky hair.




Need I say anything?









So ethereal looking.







And grievous_angel, I would have swooned if I hear Elijah saying my name the way he said yours in that movie ... Cassie...

Beautiful picspam. Beautiful face. Ah, beautiful everything. It would be a very long post indeed should I list all I love. He does look so very beautiful in this movie. SO heavenly. His voice is so soft and... no don't start again.

I had no trouble at all with the slowness of this movie. I was enthralled with Elijah. Had a little problem with the subject and take it for true once you knew what was really going on though.

I'm not quite sure whether I got it right or not but apparrently the movie is about mind over matter, the Bumblebee project, in which the doctors are using (?)hypnotism to cure Barney?

He does look simply beautiful in that movie, in every way. The sixth picture down, you can really see Frodo, don't you think? The way he is turning his head and that slight frown... I kind of like 'Bumblebee' but I think it's a movie that grows on you if you watch it several times.

Sixth pic, yes, that's Frodo alright. Maybe when he was at the Council of Elrond?

Somebody once posted pics of Elijah in his various roles comparing them with Frodo eg in The Good Son when he was hanging over the cliff holding on to his aunty, to Frodo hanging on to Sam at Mount Doom. Did you see that post? It was quite interesting.

It makes me wonder, if he were to live, say, in the fifties when they tend to make the hero/heroines look luminous, he'd look even more like an angel, dont you think so?

For me the ultimate Elijah will always be Green Street Elijah. I'm just so pleased that, no matter what, that will be there forever.

Even more than Frodo? And did you mean pic-wise or acting-wise?

I love him in all his roles but my favourites ( apart from Frodo, that is ) are Casey and Kevin. I really think that Rodriguez knew how to bring the best out of him. And Art Dodger too, despite the bad accent which I didn't realize at first until Cass said that his Cockney accent was actually horrible :-)

Watching "Bumblebee" really makes the Elijah love overflow, doesn't it? That movie could be a PWP, but I'd still watch it just for the pleasure of looking at him. Just on the cusp of manhood---when the beautiful become even more so. *sigh* Thank you.

The movie is quite okay. Rather slow like I said but I watched it because of Elijah :-)

Barney was involved in a car accident and he lost his memory. He was hospitalised in this health institution where the doctors tried to help him regain his memory. There he became good friends with a dying cancer patient and through the friend, he got to know the said friend's sister.

And yes, that shower scene *holds breath*

Heh, Elijah was the reason I watched the movie. I've wanted to watch it for quite some time now but couldn't find it anywhere. My nephew who's studying in Iowa got it for me :-)
