Casey/Zeke vignette

lisabellex. Her sexy drabble has got me thinking of what Zeke’s reaction might be if he saw Casey wearing the same robe. I would like to thank the wonderful vshendria for her generous permission to use her Borderlines!Casey/Zeke characters and the equally wonderful lisabellex for her go-ahead to use that very sexy red robe in this little story of mine.

Casey’s wearing red silk. It’s a robe… a brief, flimsy affair designed with a woman’s body in mind. Roy purchased it with Casey’s body in mind.
Now the robe has slipped open and Roy is staring.
Casey’s absorbed in his handiwork. He carefully spreads his toes and lifts the brush once more to paint red liquid beauty onto short, boyish toenails.
He sighs. He’s found contentment. The serene smile on his face mirrors an inner tranquillity. He’s fully immersed… temporarily disconnected from an unkind world… happy and safe in this perfect moment.
“Red becomes you, Casey Connor,” Roy murmurs quietly.
RED 2
Another time. Another place
Zeke enters the bedroom and stops short. His eyes widen. He can’t believe what he is seeing.
Casey…
Lying propped up on their bed, his eyes closed.
Wearing nothing but the flimsiest of robe. A silk robe that was clearly made for a woman’s body; a blood-red robe that contrasts deeply with his satin-smooth, creamy pale skin. It’s buttoned-up, but it’s opened at the throat, exposing the purpling bruise that Zeke has put there the night before. A robe so sheer and clinging that Casey couldn’t have looked any sexier naked.
Art-made-flesh, the thought comes unbidden to Zeke’s mind and he feels himself growing hard.
Time seems to stand still.
Zeke doesn’t say anything, but Casey twitches and stirs. Perhaps Casey can hear his heart beating loudly and arrhythmically against his ribcage, and the harsh, uneven sound of his breathing.
Casey opens his eyes slowly and looks up uncertainly at Zeke. He sees Zeke’s expression tighten.
“Zeke?” Casey’s voice quivers.
“Where did you get that, that thing you’re wearing?” Zeke asks quietly.
“It’s, it’s mine,” Casey stammers, his eyes round. “Roy b-bought it for me”.
It takes only two strides for Zeke to reach Casey. Shaking, he reaches out and grabs a fistful of silk chiffon. He doesn’t mean to rip the robe, he really doesn’t but that’s exactly what happens. The thin fabric tears with a sickening sound.
For a moment, they just stare at each other. Zeke looks appalled while Casey looks plain frightened as he shrinks back into his pillows.
“You are going to get rid of this,” Zeke enunciates slowly and carefully, trying to control his shaking, “and you are never ever gonna wear anything that shithead bought for you ever again. Do you understand? You know what this makes you look like?” He pauses, then continues without waiting for an answer. ” It makes you look like a – “ Zeke stops himself, horrified at what he is just about to say.
“Go on, s-say it,” Casey’s eyes have started to fill up with tears. He looks devastated. “It makes me look like a, a s-slut. That’s what you were going to say, weren’t you?”
Zeke lets his breath out slowly and releases his hold on the robe.
He turns and leaves the room without another word.

Date: 2005-06-12 09:20 pm (UTC)ok, so I think this might have happened after Zeke got Roy's letter but before he showed it to Casey, so Casey still hasn't made that phone call to Roy yet, Liz has said that Casey in that moment when he was wearing the red robe for Roy he was feeling safe and content, so maybe on that day he was feeling scared and lost and he wanted to wear that robe so he could re-live all those good feelings associated with wearing it, and thats why he fell asleep wearing it cus he was feeling safe and contentn again...umm..I'm not sure that could be accurate, I'm not an expert in Casey's mentality but thats kinda sounds like him to me..
ahem...what about you? what do you think??

Date: 2005-06-13 02:53 am (UTC)I'm not an expert in Casey's mentality Yeah me too. I'm more with Zeke if you know what I mean. So that last chapter written from Zeke's POV is extra special to me. I really, really feel for Zeke. casey is so lucky to have someone like Zeke loving him!

Date: 2005-06-13 06:50 pm (UTC)well, I've been more with Casey actually, although I can't predict what his reactions would be lots of times but its just like I feel for him more than Zeke, like when he hated that Winnona I hated her too, even when she wasn't really doing anything nasty, but just the fact that Casey hated her made me hate her as well! :P
So, would like to see a Zeke/Casey or Josh/Elijah manip?? I've only done one of them so far..

As to why Casey would want to make Zeke jealous, well, he probably wanted to push Zeke into having sex with him. He's telling Zeke that Roy had bought the red silk for him, Roy had made love to him, that he felt good wearing that robe. What he didn't expect was Zeke's almost violent reaction!
Borderlines chapter 22 should be up soon. I cant wait for the reunion. And hopefully before you go back to Syria, eh. Just wondering, you cant access the internet in Syria?

oooh! I second that! I think its too damn sexy when he does that! wouldn't mind being controled by him either ;)
yeah I can acess the internet through the internet cafe's there but I dont have internet at my house there, thats why I wont be able to use it everyday and for hours and hours like i'm doing now you know. and I definitly can't post any manip from the cafe! so even if i make some there they'll have to wait till I'm back :)
