Nov. 17th, 2006 11:31 amSaw this article in the newpapers today where Elijah was interviewed by a local journalist reagarding 'Happy Feet'. Fairly squeed off my chair when I saw it :D
Here's the online version of the interview.

Nothing new. But I did learn about two of Elijah's upcoming films which I didn't know before.
Day Zero, a movie about a military draft where he plays the lead character, Aaron Feller.
and
Oxford Murders, a thriller based on the work of Argentinean award-winning novelist Guillermo Martinez. The movie is about a professor who works with his students to solve bizarre, mathematically-based murders in Oxford. The movie will be filmed in London sometime next January.
Has anyone read the book 'Oxford Murders'? I prefer reading the books before they come out as movies and the story does sound intriguing. I wonder whether Elijah will play a geeky student mathematician complete with glasses and all.

Date: 2006-11-17 04:24 am (UTC)I've read the book, but I don't recall much of it. It was interesting though, because I finished it, and I am so not into math at all. There's a review of the book here.
I'm sure Elijah could play a geek with glasses. Heheh.

Date: 2006-11-17 05:28 am (UTC)The only thing is I hope the story is nothing like the TV series 'Numbers' ( sorry hon, if you're a fan ).
Apparrently John Hurt will be playing the Professor. I like him. And yes, I think Elijah will play the geek to perfection!

Date: 2006-11-17 12:31 pm (UTC)And who knows, maybe the author who's an Argentinian will put his foot down and insist on Viggo playing the lead instead of John Hurt :D
