Supernatural is on tonight on AXN. Hmm, to watch or not to watch. The husband is away for the night and I really do not relish the idea of waking up in the middle of the night, alone, with the dark, murky forest right outside my window, and with images of Ju-on look-alikes running in my mind. But on the other hand, I'm kind of into the two brothers, Sammy especially. It would help if the TV station were to give some sort of summary on what the episode is going to be like tonight. I mean, I don't mind if it's bugs or dark water that drowned people but that pilot episode with the Lady in White? Eeeeps. Those people at SPN could certainly give the makers of all those Korean horror flicks a run for their money.

Aw, Layne, come on... Supernatural is not that scary, even The Lady in White episode. It's fun to watch. I don't mind watching the Brothers Winchester in the middle of the night while alone. The scarier, the better. :))

Funny, I didn't feel this way with The X-Files and Mulder & Scully had their fair share of pontianaks and such!

I just started watching that show this month and I watched an ep on my computer late last night -- just before going to bed, actually, and I was fine. I don't usually watch horror movies and there are times when I feel like I shouldn't be watching this show, that it is just too scary for me... But then there are the brothers!!! (Sam especially, when he is being all emo!)

And it's hard to tell which episodes I'll be able to handle and which I won't. Last week I stared to watch this one and the first half was so gross (beheadings) that I stopped and put it away, but when I came back a couple days later it turned out to be a really great one with lovely brotherly emo fighting! So you never know!

I'm just like you! I can't watch horror movies. I don't mind the slasher thriller 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' type of movie but 'Exorcist' which I saw years ago when I was in school still gives me the creeps until now. It wasn't until someone told me that it's a bit like The X-Files that I dared to watch it. Hee, I don't think I would have minded the beheadings ( haven't watched that one yet ) but it's the vampires and such that scare me.

But yes, the brothers and their relationship with each other are hard to resist. And Sam!!!!

At first it mostly just made me miss X-Files and I still think X-Files and Buffy are more my kind of show, but Supernatural has grown on me.

Oh gosh I still miss The X-Files. I wish they'd run the reruns ( heh ) on the telly. I could buy the dvds but I don't think I'd have the time to watch them. There're loads of dvds that I've bought which I haven't watched yet including the LOTR limited edition release.

LOLOLOL! That's sweet! I felt a lot like this when I watched "The Fog" once as a child. But I can imagine Supernatural is not even as scary as this funny little piece of cinema history. I never watched it, but I saw a movie last year, which scared me a bit. It was really exciting made and I loved it a lot.
So hey, be a brave girl and watch the brothers! If there is someone with the name Sammy, you know there is nothing to fear at all! "Sam" is the word for hope and deliverance in Middle-earth today! *nods important* ;D

The brothers are what the squeee is about heheh. They're hot. But I'm kind of surprised that the series 'Numbers' do not draw the same response as 'SPN' does. Well, at least not from my flist. The brothers there are cute, too!

I watched it once. Or I tried to watch it. I'm afraid that I found it quite boring :/ Thought the brothers are quite cute too!

I wonder whether 'The Oxford Murders' is similar in concept to 'Numbers'.

I want to see Oxford Murder or perhaps read the book first, but instead of buying it from Amazon, I ended up buying Supernatural Complete First Season DVD! Hahaha.

Yes, I'm afraid other series have that problem - being boring. Script problems. Supernatural is not bad at all.
