Had a good time shopping for new clothes a couple of days ago. Nothing like retail therapy to lift up a girl’s spirit. (Other than a good steamy slash fic of course). But it says a lot about my body size, me needing to buy new clothes so early in my pregnancy. Twelve years ago when I was pregnant with my first child I could still wear my favourite jeans even when I was already in my 5th month. Heck, some of my colleagues then didn’t even realize I was pregnant, not until I was 8 months! It’s a completely different story now of course. I had people inquiring solicitously about my ‘pregnancy’ even when I wasn’t lol.

I get tired very easily nowadays too. Years ago I could climb 3 flights of stairs easily even when I was already term but now the only thing that I want to do after getting back from work is sleep.

I love my new bra. It's plain cotton and it's soft and cool. Cant wear my old ones anymore. They made the boobs itch. Nothing to do with size but they have gotten more sensitive lately so my bras have to be as plain as could be. No more fancy laces or underwires, at least for the next 1 yr at least.

And my youngest is 4 years old today. Oh dear, he has only six more months to be the baby of the family. I'm spoiling him rotten now.

No, just the occasional queasiness. And the tiredness? It disappeared once I stepped inside the shopping mall :D And I strongly suspect that I'd be BOUNCING if I have an upcoming date with Elijah in Edinburgh. *g*

You're going next week aren't you? Who would you be going with?

Glad you're not feeling terribly sick. Wish you could be coming to Edinburgh!

Going on Monday. I'll be in the hotel by myself the first night, but I'll be meeting lilithlotr and _doodle and poss some others for Billy's film that night, then maybe meeting ourdramaqueen and trianne afterwards.

On Tuesday, Salogel and Arabia arrive. We're sharing a room for Tuesday night. A bunch of others will be arriving that day. The prem is at 7.30pm. Yay! Partay!

Wednesday I'll be flying over to Holland and then on Thursday Elfie and I will be flying to the US and ELF!

Can't wait!

I have a friend, well someone I know, who had 3 kids when she was in her early twenties. She has just had her 4 baby and she is now in her thirties. She also said it was a huge difference. She got very, very tired and lots of other things. Everything went ok though. No troubles with birth.

You take care of yourself.

*hugs*

You must say hello to your friend for me. She certainly seems to have a lot in common with me! Hmm, I wonder how Madonna coped, her having her babies so late in her life. But then she has more than enough money to be waited on hands and feet!

Thanks Julia. Now you know why my mouth waters every time you write about Frodo's breakfast, luncheons and dinners!

As an employee of the Gap who works in the body department, may I suggest the Gaps tee-shirt and lightly lines tee-shirt bras? They are super comfortable and very soft. :-)

If you get a chance look them up online or go see them at a store, I have pregnant and nursing women tell me all the time how great they are. :-)

Oooh, thanks for the tip! I'll certainly look them up especially the bras. It's hard to get comfortable and soft bras for extra-itchy boobs :DD

They are both bras. One is called the tee-shirt bra and one is the lightly lined tee-shirt bra. They are super comfy. Good luck fighting the itchy boob syndrome.

It took me three years to get rid of most of the flab I accumulated from my last pregnancy. Now my son's 22, and I still have the rest of it. :( I needed maternity clothes in my third month, by god.

Aside from itchy boobs and tiredness, you seem to be getting through it okay. I'm very glad. *hugs*

I accumulated 12kgs in my 12yrs of marriage, 1kg/yr :(

Darn the metabolism.

Heh itchy boobs can be pretty embarassing, almost as embarassing as itching down there :0

btw, I love your icon. That's not Elijah, is it?

*hugs you back*
