Sunday morning ramblings

Sunday morning here. Looks like it's going to be a loooong day today. We usually go out for family outings on Sundays but not today. The husband has to be on stand-by this weekend, they're doing some repair work at the station and the engineer has to be around, in case something goes wrong. Hee, it's funny, to see him jump each time the phone rings LOL.

Anyway, I wish we have a desktop at home. Hubby has his own laptop but the kids are not alllowed to use his since he has his workstuff there so I have 3 kids hovering around waiting to use mine. And I'm itching to read all those fics that I've saved since yesterday. Itching, I tell you.

Got a few DVDs lined up, probably would have time to watch only one. Which one would you watch first? I have Queen, Black Dahlia, Lady in the Water, First Daughter and Walk the Line. Decisions, decisions *g*

Or maybe I should just watch another episode of 'Supernatural'. Almost everyone seems to be talking about S2 finale and I can only guess what's happening from all the icons and picspams. Sounds like they're having some major angst there.

'The Amazing Race All Star' finale will be on tomorrow. I'm so rooting for the Beauty Queens. It's time TAR has an all-girl team winning the race and these girls are just so smart and funny!

I will! I like Bryce Dallas Howard. I've just only recently found out that she's Ron Howard's daughter. Hee, good old Ritchie Cunningham has a daughter all grown up!

Joaquin is wonderful in Walk the Line. The Black Dahlia has one shot of Josh Hartnett's bare bottom, though it's a very dark, violent movie.

It's the one with Helen Mirren. Quite a Queen theme there - the movie, the Beauty Queens at TAR and Michael in 'Something Wicked' : "Two queens?" LOL I love that kid.

I could tell you what NOT to watch.. First Daughter. Utter waste of time IMO :) All others are good choices.

So you're spoiler-free too huh? I have no idea what's going on in the finale either. I don't even look at the previews and am trying to stay away from the comms as well lol :)

I still couldn't find that dvd that you rec'd last time - The Velvet Goldmine (?).

I love Shyamalan too. My favourites are 'The 6th Sense' and 'The Village'.

I agree with you, "The 6th Sense" and "The Village" are great movies, I especially like the atmosphere in "The Village".

You really should find Velvet Goldmine, it's great. I don't know if it's out of print, but it's easy to find it on Amazon or eBay!
