Nope. I'm a bit dizzy every time I see all those fics in the newsletter. In the end I have my own way of reading: I read through the story finders and save the ones I want to read in my cell. So mostly I only read the old ones. I have never done the same to any of the fics from supernaturalfic, for example. *wipes sweat*

Yes, I've seen that but I couldn't really *see* him. The vid's not that clear. I saw him doing that dive though, but again, I couldn't make out his face.

That fic by

esorlehcar? It has one of the most romantic scenes between Sam and Dean that I've read in a fic. They were in this diner and Dean was teasing Sam about cutting Sam's hair. Sam didn't say anything but he kept staring at Dean's hands when he suddenly took Dean's ring and put in on his own finger. Dean was like - wtf? - and he said "That's mine." And Sam answered "Yeah, it is." Then Dean keeps staring for a long moment, and then he slowly starts to smile. It feels, somehow, exactly like a kiss.

Now is that romantic or what? *wibbles*

Each time I see Esorlehcar's post on my flist, I was like, oh please let it be another one of her 'Down to the End' verse. Same goes for

esohpe. My heart jumps each time when I see her post, hoping that it'd be the sequel to 'The JP Untitled Project', which btw, she's planning to do soon!

Seemed like such a simple thing,isn't it, Sam taking Dean's ring, but so loaded with meaning. Now they're complete - Dean wears a Samulet, Sam wears Dean's ring and Kripke should write that in the script somewhere :D

It was one of the most beautiful images I have been given in a long time. Such a small thing but oh so powerful. If Kripke did then the THUD's and SQUEE's would be hear world wide.

I think I'm a little scared of listening to Jensen sing. Someone said he was doing that high-pitched kind of thing that I think is cheesy. Now the REO song was amazing just because he was being Dean, but no, not my style of singing either. I suspect if he wanted to, he could sing very nicely.

Since Steve makes his living singing, I would assume he's doing the main singing. But I tried comparing the voice on his myspace page (where he kind of "countrifies" his voice because of the type of song that he is singing) and to decide if it's the same voice. You could be right, because on this little clip, the singer doesn't enunciate as well as the myspace guy. Interesting. Both voices are baritones, making it a little harder to decide.

I'd love to hear the whole song (the Beatles one) because it's a nice arrangement, but I can't access that page.

Okay, update, I found it on youTube. That's definitely the less polished one singing there... i.e., Jensen. It's still very cute, but he needs to practice a little bit more. :)

I'm a big critic, but that's because I'm a big fan of both opera and, say, punk rock screaming. I love Kurt Cobain's voice and Thomas Hampson's voice.

Still, awfully cute! He actually has a nice voice but could use it better.

Okay, I finally figured it out!!!

The main singer is not Steve Carlson, it's someone called Roark Critchlow, and HE is the one who needs to practice. His voice has a rough edge that didn't match Steve Carlson's, or Jensen's from his little REO snippet on the show.

Now and then you can hear a different voice singing a line or two, such as in your truncated clip that started this whole thing. And that, I'm guessing, is Jensen. His voice is much superior to Roark's. Even though he needs to enunciate a bit more. Oh, and um, his falsetto is a bit odd, too, but that's a hard thing for a guy to do well. :)
