Sweet dreams, Dean ...

Dean sleeping in 'Bedtime Stories', looking almost child-like with his hair neatly combed and all, and the covers tucked up around him ( I like to imagine Sam doing that to him. After Dean had fallen asleep of course, he would never allow Sam to do it, of course ). He looked so vulnerable there, and maybe that was why they had him sleeping like that for that particular episode - to remind us ( as if we need reminding ) of Dean's Last Year, and you know, it somehow upped the angst factor, especially with Sam standing nearby, just looking at him while making his decisions.



Because you can't have him sleeping like this, can you, to get that kind of effect, all sprawled out with his arms and legs all over the bed, his hair mussed up and the covers all tangled up at his feet. Sexy much, ya?

chloe_amethyst's put up a post on sleep positions here a little while back, and funnily enough, Dean's sleep position in 'Bedtime Stories' is called 'The Soldier' while the second one is called 'The Freefall'. While I wouldn't exactly call Dean "quiet and reserved" before, but with his year drawing to a close, maybe we'd get to see more to that side of Dean. Brash and gregarious on the surface, they are nervy and thin-skinned underneath seems more like the Dean we know.

And a teensy-weensy poll. Which one of the sleeping Deans gets to you the most? I know that I feel like cuddling and petting him in the first pic while the second pic makes me want to jump him, so I gues you can't really compare, but which one affect you more?
