I really loved the episode. It was gritty and scary and there was so much Sam and Dean family love, and Bobby being all tough and fatherly, and the singing and the driving and then the damn hellhounds and Dean dead and Sam crying, and it ended perfectly. It had everything I watch Supernatural for.

And I think I almost cracked a rib hearing them singing. Hearing Sam singing omg Kripke read my LJ because I was telling people right and left that I wish Jared and Jensen would sing at the cons!

And did you squee when they sang? God, I screamed the house down I was so excited, and when Sam started to sing, too, hee, it was like I was at a concert, the Sam and Dean concert. I wonder whether Jared could sing in RL, whether that was just Sam.

well, I watched. It was pretty good. But (don't hurt me)I am just not all that impressed with Jensen. BUT Jared is freakin hot. I can feel him onscreen. Simply gorgeous. It was a weird ending. Dead...no. I felt it was almost like this transient state of being...kinda like Frodo and Shelob.

You sure you got it right, sweetie, which is which? When I first got into SPN I kept confusing Sam and Dean, and Jared and Jensen!

Jensen is Dean, the shorter one. Jared is Sam, the bigger brother, the one on my icon. But they're both good actually, but I'm more into Dean, those EYES omg, and he does the tortured, angsty scenes really well.

Have you seen any of the earlier episodes,from seasons 1 and 2?

I think I have post traumatic stress syndrome from Show even though I wasn't the one being gobbled by Hellhounds.

Kripke, though we may want to kill him, is back to great writing. I had thought his writing was going downhill of late. But he wrote a smart, scary, riveting, touching script that did a great job with continuity with past episodes.

Despite being happy about that, I'm still really, really sad. :-( And I need Bobby. *waaaaah*

I thought the hellhound scenes were done very well, and the blood gushing out of Dean's chest. Eeeps, that looked very real.

I still wish that Sam had gone psycho to save Dean. I was expecting that in fact. He was doing what Dean wanted I guess, and he kept his humanity right to the end. Though I am a bit confused there. Lilith couldn't kill Sam because he was more powerful than her? Then what does that make Sam?

I *almost* went off SPN after season 2 when they announced the two new girl characters and we knew nothing about them. But Sam and Dean won out. And Bela and Ruby grew on me, I love them as well now!
