I really loved the episode. It was gritty and scary and there was so much Sam and Dean family love, and Bobby being all tough and fatherly, and the singing and the driving and then the damn hellhounds and Dean dead and Sam crying, and it ended perfectly. It had everything I watch Supernatural for.

And I think I almost cracked a rib hearing them singing. Hearing Sam singing omg Kripke read my LJ because I was telling people right and left that I wish Jared and Jensen would sing at the cons!

the hellhounds .... that got me the most, that was scary as hell. Now I understand why Jensen cried.

One of my kids was with me but I sent him to bed because I want to enjoy them by myself.

I had to watch it on my own, just had to.

I also had to read all the spoilers I could find first and then watch the end before the start. I *needed* to know what happened so I could watch the rest. But still... Sam looking close to tears all the way through, Dean still focused on taking care of his Sammy. Bobby and his boys.... Makes my belly flip.

I CAN'T do that. I end up not watching - hiding behind my hand or simply looking away - or fast forwarding through it. I always enjoy it more the second time round. But then I read hundreds of murder mysteries and always read the end.

I don't like surprises.

Oh everybody was brilliant, including the girl. But I guess the one in Jus in Belo was scarier because that was so totally unexpected, grey eyes and all.

Kripke has built up their love to be something so special, so all encompassing that it's pretty hard to not see Wincest as a natural step. Dean knows what Sam is to him - everything, the ONLY thing. He also knows what he means to Sam, that's why he can't let Sam go darkside, not for him.
