I love his expression there. He seemed to be caught in Dean's headspace, reading that script. And the book's one of the reasons that I love that pic so much. I wonder whether he was researching for the episode 'Faith'. Or 'Bugs'. Wish I could read that script!

There's a lot to love in that picture. It looks like he's got the script tagged with pink Post-its. He's wearing a Carhartt jacket -- nice authenticity on the part of the costume department! His fingernails are SO pretty. I even dig the Kleenex box for some bizarre reason. He's just so frigging adorable.

His fingernails are the only contention that I have for Dean Winchester's overall make-up. Like you said, they're way too pretty for a rough-and-tumble demon-hunter, too manicured. And shouldn't his hands be more callused and scarred?
