Saw it last night. While I'm not a fan of either Reeves or Connelly, both hubby and I love such storylines, and it's not bad! It's not ID4 good, but it's quite riveting and Reeves is perfect for that character he played, which doesn't need any sort of overt emotional display ... so, yeah :))

But you know who we thought would have been even more perfect as Klaatu? Misha Collins! That unnerving, emotionless stare, the stillness, oh he would have been an even better choice to play the alien visitor, chapped lips and all.

Will Smith's son, Jaden, was awesome, and he's so CUTE omg! I don't quite like his character though, I don't think I'd ever have the patience of Helen when confronted with such behaviour. But oh, I see so much of his Dad in him *LOVES*

Kathy Bates is awesome as usual, but I just saw her as Holly's perpetually unhappy mother in 'PS I LOve You' and it's kind of hard to really see her as as the hardened Secretary of State. And speaking of the Secretary, where oh where is the President and the Vice Prsident in all this?

And another thing, that robocop thing? It looked a lot like the Academy Award Oscar thing LOL.

Quite an enjoyable movie overall.
