Questions regarding Sam in episode 14

Why was Sam so mad after that phone-call from Dean, I mean, now that we know that he wasn't under the influence of the siren? And it wasn't just your usual run-of-the-mill annoyance, he was practically in rage there that it freaked me out a little.

Was it because Dean decided to hunt for the siren alone, that he wanted Sam to sit that one out?

Or was it Sam's "inner demon" coming out, a hint of things to come? *shivers*

Or was it just the writers simply wanting to continue misleading us that Sam was under the influence of the siren?

And another thing, am I the only who think Sam would be immune and not be affected by the siren's bodily fluid ( or whatever it was )?

I seriously thought his head would explode, along with the phone and maybe more than a few pieces of furnitures as well. Jared did very well in the last episode. To be honest, there were times when I didn't quite "get" his acting but oh boy, did he surpasse himself in S&V!

And yeah, I agree with you about the combination of things contributing to his anger.
