I don't have enough words to express how incredible this story is. 65,000 words and I still don't have enough of it. It's so awesome that I suspect even 200K wouldn't be enough. I'm hooked, transfixed and riveted to my monitor screen - crying, laughing, smiling - and now I can't wait to read it all over again!

Summary : Jensen is a special child with special abilities. So special that no one's really comfortable with him, not even his family. He has no friends and he spends his days alone. Until Jared comes along that is. Jared, the only one who's able to get through to Jensen, but even Jared doesn't know the extent of Jensen's abilities, and to what terrible extent Jensen's family is capable of doing to keep Jensen safe.

It’s not like he doesn’t try to fit in and make friends, he really does. It just seems like nothing he does is good enough for them. If he smiles they blink. If he speaks they stare. And whenever they see him coming they get this panicked look in their eyes like they want to run away and they don’t even know why.
Jensen knows why. It’s the same thing that makes his dad worry and his mom cry. That makes Nana tell his parents he’s going to Hell, not even caring that he can hear her.
It’s what makes him ‘weird’.

I know but I have to spend time with Phil after work and then play here with my flist in the evenings so the best time, when I can sit down and give it proper attention, will be the weekend. We are planning, if the weather is nice, to take a picnic and go hang out in the National Park so I shall print it out and read while lying underneath some beautiful majestic ancient trees. Perfect no? And well worth waiting for! I shall definately come back and squee with you though!

Omg reading it outdoors lying under ancient trees with birds flying around you and maybe a horse or two would be the BEST way to read it, you'll know what I mean afterwards. Choose an OAK tree, okay? And if you could download the soundtrack and listen to it while reading, that would be even better. Jensen plays the piano a lot in that story, and with each piece that he plays, the author has given the accompanying music.

Yeah, Jensen plays the piano incredibly well, and he plays for Jared all the time and oh, I'm not going to spoil the story for you but I'm dying to!

LIN! Thank you so much for the link. I got your email at work so I was able to go on and steal the fic so I could print it out. I've got the whole two Parts sitting on my bookcase now just waiting for me to read on the weekend. I CAN'T WAIT! Its popped up again as a rec on my flist so my excitement it building.

BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm halfway through and I'm stopping to take a breather but oh. my. God. How I wish I could squee with you right now. It's magical, darling, there's no other word for it. I'll probably be raving about it on my LJ tonight if I could finish it by then. It's a MONSTER of a story, ~200K part 1 and part 2 combined.

I am so tempted to start reading it but I don't have time. See when I love something I don't STOP till I've read it all, neglecting things like Phil, food and sleep. And I just know I'm gonna love this. So that is why I can't start reading it till I have all day to enjoy it on Saturday.

I read it at work and I didn't have my lunch and I didn't take my usual afternoon nap and thank goodness it was a slow day at work so I could read it with minimal interruptions but now I'm jealous of you because you're going to read the whole thing through in one shot but I still wish we could crylaughsqueediescream together. And NO, it's NOT Saturday yet!
