Dream a little dream of Season 5.

I dreamt that I watched SPN S5.01 last night.

I hardly ever dream of anything fannish ( must be lilybaggins's power of persuasion but sorry, Lily, no Frood in the throes of labour *g* ) but last night's was a lovely one, in full technicolour complete with a plot and everything.

Unfortunately I can only remember it in bits and pieces now but there're two scenes that I remember clearly.

There was this scene as seen through Lucifer's eyes. Everything was bathed in a white light but everybody looked "normal". No one was afraid when Lucifer approached them, either because they couldn't see him or because he was possessing a human. There was no sinister music or anything but despite all that it was somehow chilling.

I got the impression that he was looking for a person to possess but he was not satisfied with anyone. At one point there was a dog someone left inside a car and it looked suspiciously like Icarus, and yes, Lucifer went and possessed it but Lucifer was not satisfied with Icarus either.

The second scene was Dean walking towards a car and it wasn't the Impala but a beat-up VW. Sam was inside it and they were both scruffy omg they looked so HOT!! Dean sat in the backseat and at first I thought it was because they couldn't both fit into the front seats as the car was tiny. But then he lay down and oh, Sam was somehow in the backseat too and Dean put his head on Sam's lap! I squeed like anything ( apparently dream!Layne was as squee-ey as real!Layne ).

At that point in time, dream!Layne looked up at the clock and saw that it was already 10am ( I was supposed to be at work by 9 ) so I asked my boy to call the office and tell them I'll be at the office by noon!

I can't remember anything more unfortunately but scruffy!Dean and scruffy!Sam OMG!!!!

I kinda love that whole 'seeing through Lucifer's eyes' thing. Sounds like an interesting idea for an episode, if you ask me! Although, we should probably leave out the part where he possesses the dog, eh.

And also, that second scene. No way will that ever be an actual scene in an actual episode. Kripke wants his audience alive and well to watch the show, and I'm pretty sure that fandom will spontaneously combust if that scene actually aired! :D

Hee hee, and I know that I'd be terribly embarassed to watch that kind of a scene with my boys. But the scruffy part, don't you think that two hunters perpetually on the move would have some sort of facial hair instead of be clean-shaven ALL the time? And how on earth did Dean find the time to have his hair cut like that??!!??

Mmm, scruffy boys... I guess they shave in between jobs kot? And I'm pretty sure Sam cuts Dean's hair, and vice versa. That's why sometimes Sam's hair looks like crap. lol

Dean was dead tired I think, he had dark circles under his eyes ( and the scruff, don't forget the scruff! ) and he just wanted to sleep. Initially he used a bag for a pillow than Sam was there and Dean smiled and oh, I was so happy in my dream!!

It's a pet peeve of mine, seeing those two badass hunters clean-shaven with their face baby smooth all the time and not a single hair out of place! Though I believe Kripke originally intended for Dean to have tattoos and that he smoked, ha, thank goodness that didn't happen. I don't want them to be that bad-assed!!

I am really excited about Lucifer for the new season. I'm avoiding spoilers, mostly, but what I have heard in general sounds amaaaaaaaaaazing....

Have you seen scruffy summer Jared? He's a beast. I'd be scared of him in my dreams. Wish I could find the picture I'm thinking of..
