Yes! The Philadelphia Story arrived by mail yesterday. Now I'll get to see why Borderlines!Casey loved that movie very much. And I'll get to hear that line uttered by Zeke that made Casey so very happy.

Watched Closer a couple of nights ago. That part when the doctor had internet sex with Daniel was hilarious. And I'd never be able to look at Queen Amidala again without thinking of Natalie Portman's Alice.

Ventured into DomLijah's territories this past one week. Thank you [livejournal.com profile] suzy_74 for the sweetly romantic Beekeeper and thank you [livejournal.com profile] lij_girl for the bittersweet Keeping Track I enjoyed those 2 stories very much! ( Much to my surprise I must admit )

For those who might be interested in Elijah served a la Scarlett and Viggo a la Rhett, do give The Spoils of War a try. It's a WIP but worth the wait.

Cried happy tears for Elijah and Viggo in Houseparty's last chapter. Cass' lovely story is due for another rereading too.

And I had such fun beta'ing for the lovely [livejournal.com profile] lij_girl for her wonderful The Confession . See, I'm into Billijah now as well *pleased*

Current Book : The Spell by Alan Hollinghurst, week 1 page 7. Not a bad book but my fanfics are very distracting.

Ah, I'm so pleased that you liked it! Isn't that speech from Jimmy Stewart just gorgeous. It's like the essence of Hollywood, the way he holds her and she sort of swoons and then they mash their lips together. It couldn't be more perfect for what it is.

Hepburn was magnificent, wasn't she? I haven't seen the Aviator yet but discovering that she was "in" it increased my interest several notches.

And no, I don't believe the two actresses were related but I can't say that I'm really sure about that.

Singin' in the Rain...ah...it's like the perfect musical, and I'm not a fan of all musicals. I think a lot of them are just horrible. But Singin' in the Rain, An American in Paris, My Fair Lady...those are wonderful, wonderful.

I haven't seen Casablanca for quite a few years and I'm not really totally familiar with it to tell the truth. I should view it again.
