*That* apocalypse movie.

I'm going to watch 2012 this evening. Or planning to anyway. Last week it was full house for all shows at the cinemas that I went to. No one answered the phone when I tried to phone-book the tickets this morning so we'll just try our luck again today.

Wish me luck! ( Because the cinema is like, 60 kms aways and I really hate to come back without seeing it for the second time ).

My kids are dying to see that movie. They watched Panic Room on TV last night and I was wondering why ( not their usual kind of movie ) when I saw wee!Kristin Stewart was in it as Jodie Foster's daughter.

I had no idea she was in that movie either. Heheh, seeing her there made me think that her facial expressions must be her default's, though it kinda worked for her in Panic Room because it made her looked exactly like Jodie Foster.

Btw, I think she was awesome in Panic Room.

It'll make you long for SPN having that kind of budget, won't it? I remember watching that Nick Cage apocalypse movie ( can't remember the title ) and how I wished SPN's apocalyse could look like that!

I liked it, even at 3:00 hours long! The FX are so great, they pretty much make up for any cheesiness of the plot itself. :)

I'm considering going to see it - it's just a case of getting around to it. :) The little independent cinema that I favour won't show it, but I know it's on at the multiplex. While I enjoy being wowed by special effects, I would rather pay to see something more upbeat than the destruction of our planet, so we'll see!
