Yes, another one of those familiar, has-been-on-SPN-before, faces. This is Renee from 24. And yes, I'm into 24 now in which I totally blame [livejournal.com profile] suzy_74

It's Susan from the episode 'Playthings'! Omg, Renee is sooooooooo different from Susan. Eeee, I can't wait to see more of her!

So. What I'm doing tonight.
1. Watch SPN 5.11
2. Watch 24 : Redemption

And if I had the time, I'm going to watch 24 8.04 again tonight, now that I know Renee was Susan!

Hee, I was watching The Mentalist tonight, and I spotted that Sheriff from Yellow Fever there. FYI I wonder if TM and SPN share the same casting agent(s). I've seen so many faces from past SPN episodes popping up on TM.

I think we see SPN in everything!! The White Lady in the pilot epiosde has her own show Life. Jim Beaver and Katie Casside in Harper's Island, KC again in Melrose Place. They're evrywhere!

I've seen The Mentalist mentioned here and there on my flist. Is it good? Is it worth downloading? ( They're not airing the show here )

If you have time, I'd suggest you to check it out. I'm not crazy about it even though I'm a huge Simon Baker fan. The show isn't dark and 3D enough for me. It's kinda a fluff and feel good show where the protagonist (Patrick Jane, played by Simon) is incredibly smart and observant and cute (to the point of unbelievable).

I read a full page article in Times magazine last year especially dedicated to the show and the discussion why this type of show appeals to the public at this day and age when the world economy is shot to hell, and more and more high stake scams are exposed.

Did I mention Simon a la Patrick Jane is cute? ;-)

The series creator and executive producer is Bruno Heller. He was one of the lead writers for the tv series "Rome", which I loved. Compare to "Rome", I admit I'm a bit disappointed with "The Mentalist".

Actually, The Mentalist is a WB show too (that is, it's filmed on the WB lot) so it stands to reason that actors would cross over between shows.

That's a very interesting piece of information! I didn't know that. TM is shot in LA, isn't it? I didn't know CBS has relationship with WB. But back in Simon's "The Guardian" days, Sony Studio was the one who made that show (CBS only shown it) if I remember correctly. Is that the case with TM nowadays?

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I went to visit my cousin at her office on the lot last April (she works on Smallville). TM films there, so does Chuck. I can't remember what else since, at the time, we were primarily interested in lunch! *lol* If it hadn't been storming like crazy last week when my kids and I were in LA, she would have taken us on the set of TM. *sigh* Maybe next year...

That's Susan? But she looks very different from Playthings. But, anyway, I'm not good with remembering actress' face. Ask my sis! Different matters though with actors. :D

BTW, I watched an episode of Jericho and there's Richard Speight JR, aka the Trickster. And the night before, I watched an old Matthew Fox's series called Haunted and I saw one of Ghostfacers guys, Harry.

The SPN folks are EVERYWHERE!! And yes, that's Susan. Oh my, her character in 24 is poles apart from Susan. I'm rather scared of Renee actually hee hee.

I've only started watching 24, the current season ie season 8. I'm not sure which season she was in before this!

You've watched 24 before?
