Biggest Loser : Asia.
Congratulations, David! You totally deserve your win. Though I do think you loooked so much better ( cuter! ) with your face fuller but I guess you can't have everything. Now, Carlo, even though I didn't root for him, I agree with his supporters that his new look is hot! Aaron didn't look like he had lost any weight but that's probably because he had so much to lose in the first place.

Oh my, I freaked out a bit when I saw Garry, Hafiz and Tony, and of course David and Carlo ( though with those two I was expecting it ). They're really, really skinny! Ironically Kristy looked like she had gained weight, all muscle perhaps but still she so shouldn't have worn that clingy dress. David Nuku ( sweet David! ) looked good, he made me think of Neil Patrick Harris!

Martha made a wise ( and mature ) decision in going to Tony and Garry for help because I don't think she would have been able to do it on her own.

As for Sarimah, someone should have written her script for her because her saying "You look amazing" repeatedly got boring after a while. And I thought she looked a tad panicked when Garry stood up to say what he said to his wife. But overall I think she did a good job. Go Sarimah!

Survivor.
I'm a bit bemused that no one thought of eliminating JT. It was just like before, it seems like he's protected by a charm bubble or something. Yeah, his appeal has worn off a bit for me. I still like him, it's just that I like Colby more and I totally want Colby to stay more than JT.

And I'm beyond amazed that no one thought of Russell when the machete disappeared. Did none of them watch Survivor Samoa? *shakes head*

Btw, where exactly is the current Survivor being filmed? They said Survivor Redemption so is that like, a place? Remeption Island?

The Amazing Race.
The sauerkraut looked a bit like our kuey teow here, but I googled it up and it's apparrently shredded cabbage? But anyway, it looked delicious and the portion was small so why weren't everyone doing that detour instead of the soccer one? And yeah, compared to the previous seasons, that eating challenge seemed to be somewhat tame unless there's something about sauerkraut that I know nothing about? Brandy looked like she was totally enjoying herself there!

I only watched a handful of episodes of the Biggest Loser Asia, but of the few I saw, I found David to be extremely annoying with his BLUE TEAM FOREVER!!11!! attitude. And, to be honest, he looks a bit sickly! (Also, he lost 83kgs??? That's like, almost 2 of me!)

Oh yes, Carlo looks pretty hot now! Gary looked like a totally different person! He couldn't get down on one knee because he was too fat, awww..

It's a shame David won, though. He certainly didn't need the money!

I followed Biggest Loser regularly but only the Asian one, mainly because it was shot at A Famosa and at the time when the show premiered we just came back from as vacation there. ( we saw Kevin! ) And as with most realitiy shows, you got hooked! Haha, each time an episode ends, I feel like going to the nearest Fitness Center to join up. I bet they have a surge of people signing up!

Yes, that's what I thought about David too. He looked skeletal! But then, I looked at his family members ( the skinny ones ) and I think it's the genes. And yes, the family looks filthy rich!

I love it when Carlo's wife called the old Carlo her teddy bear. So sweet!

Did Garry say anything about his hair? And was it just my TV or was the audio bad in the finale?

Heh, I also loved that she called the new Carlo an action figure! :D

And I don't think it was your TV. The audio was horrible! It's like really soft one minute then it goes loud, then the sound disappears for a bit.. And I do hope they buck up on live show quality. Last night didn't impress.

Must be FINAS. Because you know, I've always associated Finas with bad infomercials. I wonder why they didn't do it at Astro.

Scarily so! But I could see right from the very beginning that he was a very determined guy.

These Survivor "old timers" seem to be playing like children who have never played the game before. Still great fun to watch, though.

I don't think Russell's season had aired yet when this was filmed. So no one really knows who he is, or what he's capable of!

I believe they're in Samoa.

Russell has a great advantage over the others then. He ( presumably ) had seen the previous seasons, knew how the others play but they didn't know anything about him!

I rooted for Russell last season. I really liked him then ( after the first couple episodes when I actually loathed him ). Not so much this season though. There's so much of conniving and mischief-making that you can take!

This season I'm all for Colby and Rob, and JT, to a certain extent. Parvathi is so pretty! Is she of mixed blood or something? Her name sounds Indian but she looks anything but!

She's really pretty, I agree!

I'll keep rooting for Rob. He seems to have grown up a bit since last time.

Amber must have been a good influence on him! And I agree with you, he's a lot more mature and wiser now. Go Rob!

The current Survivor was filmed in Samoa, and apparently was being filmed before 'Survivor Samoa' aired. So Russell has the advantage that he's the only one that none of the others have either played with or watched his season.

Sauerkraut's basically shredded fermented cabbage.

It's an acquired taste then, sauerkraut I mean. But still, I think they have it easy this time around in terms of eating challenge.

So when Russell appeared in the reunion episode of last season's Survivor, he has already finished ( or in the middle of? ) with Heroes vs Villain I guess. Lucky man. Not only he has the advantage of knowing about the rest, he also has the "home" territory thing going for him, so to speak.

Jordan and Jeff must have really hated it, the way Jordan was pinching her nose and all. Brandy, on the other hand, looked like she wanted to ask for a second helping!

Samoa, right? I bet Russell was stoked, being invited to do another season right after the final episode of Survivor Samoa.

Btw, I really thought that Johnny Fairplay would make an appearance!

Speaking of TAR. I'm now watching the season where they brought back the old contesters. Saw Rob and Amber get kicked out last week. Rob must have been so disappointed. *lol*

Oh I remember that. One of his most memorable quotes was when he said to Amber, "We're not on Survivor, we can eat all we want." Lol.

Then of course, there were the fans who recognized them from Survivor and they got plenty of help!
