layne67American Idol Top 9.
Result show tonight, that's 8 hours away! Performances that made me sit up last night :
1. Lee with his Hey Jude. I'm not actually a fan but that was fantastic! And no, that being Mary's song to wee!Dean had nothing to do with that. Totally. Hee! But yes, I'm not a fan but I was totally in love with him last night. And who knows, maybe he'll grow on me, esp when the others said he was always a bundle of nerves - I've always got a thing for guys who're like that. Though I agree with Simon that the bagpiper who got separated from his parade wasn't necessary :))
2. Casey James. I'm a fan and he hasn't disappointed me so far. Totally agree with Kara that he can and should do more. He was in danger of being a bit bland with not enough sparkle in him but he rocked last night *draws extra halo around his light-limned hair*
3. Tim Urban - surprise surprise! I was prepared to be uninspired ( again ) by his singing but what do you know, he totally nailed that song. He looked like a Beatles extra, McCartney reincarnate, with that hair and his built and the electric guitar. Loved him last night.
4. Crystal Bowersox - I've liked her right from the auditions and she delivered last night. I wasn't really sitting up by her performance but I enjoyed it nevertheless. And like the bagpipe, I thought the didgeridoo was unneeded but I guess since it was Crystal, the judges said it was cool *shrugs* Still a fan.
The Amazing Race : Malaysian leg.
Ahaha, Snake Temple! I wonder how they managed to get the snakes to be so frisky. The last time I went there I thought they were statues. But dead-looking snakes won't make good TV so the temple people probably went easy with the incense smoke ( that's what made the snakes drowsy I was told ). And omg the heat! I could practically see it simmering off the street. Poor them. Walking to my car from the office at mid-day already makes me feel like melting and they had to run up and down the steps *shudders*

Boston!Rob : "Something is not right ..."
Lol and that something is called "I'm not in charge of the game". I'm sorry to see him go though. And I totally thought it was a bad decision to get rid of him, at least not that early. In a way, I think it's better to lose challenges after challenges earlier on, that way the the ones that stayed are the strong ones, and the alliance is stronger which is better for all concerned when there's a merge ( the way it was for the yellow team in Survivor Samoa ). So I'm totally expecting the Heroes to win the rest of the challenges from now on!
