I'm so afraid to hope or to expect anything since I don't want to be disappointed. But it's hard not to feel excited, and getting my hopes up, seeing the flist exploding. Down, girl, down.

I even dreamt about the 100th last night. The episode was sepia-toned and Dean was walking around doing absolutely nothing and I remember thinking For God's sake do something! And also, it felt good, watching Bones and seeing Directed by David Boreanaz, and seeing House directed by Hugh Laurie. But I guess the rumour of Jensen directing the 100th is not true. Oh to see that in writing - Directed by Jensen Ackles - *dreams*

To distract myself.

I walked/ran 2.9 kilometers yesterday. And I think I know why it took me so long to finally manage to go beyond 2 kms. I stopped too early, before the endorphin rush came in. There's a point, isn't it, when you start to run more easily, you breathe easier, you don't feel the pain so much, and it feels like the wind is behind you, pushing you on.

Once I reach that point, it feels like I can run forever. Which unfortunately is not true of course. I wonder whether there's a third wind, and the fourth and so on? Does the endorphin come in batches?

In spite of the rumors of Jensen's directorial debut being false, you will NOT be disappointed by the 100th ep.

It's good to see the squee coming in equally from both Sam's and Dean's girls ( at least from the ones I've seen ). Aargh, 8 more hours!!!

Haha, for the longest time after I started running, the first mile or 2 was miserable no matter what I did. Someone told me it has to do with muscles mobilizing ATP (muscle energy) at a different rate than they're used to or something. LOL. I don't care. That first mile or 2 was miserable, and if you can't get through that, how are you ever supposed to go farther? So, I just sucked it up. And yes, after that, it just got easier.

You'll be happier to know that the first mile or two is no longer any more miserable than the rest. LOL. So, I think that goes away. I dunno whether endorphin rushes come in batches, but I know there have been times when I've thought I was totally spent, but I only had one little bit to do, so I did it, and then suddenly found myself able to do more. I don't know if that's endorphins or just overcoming a mental block. Whatever works, I say.

And yeah, I'm still disappointed that the rumor about directing wasn't true, but I thought they cleared that up months ago. I'm surprised there are still people who didn't know it was a false rumor.

But I'm still hoping that one of these days he will do so. Direct an episode I mean. Season six perhaps. Jared did give him that director lenses or whatnot for his birthday gift once, didn't he?

I used to feel miserable putting on my running shoes, like it was a chore that I was just forcing myself to do. But now I can't wait to run, it's like crack. Good crack! Aahh, if only they could bottle up endorphins!

I'm LMFAO reading this post. You and me -- we are so alike, down to the dreaming about it last night, it's "scary"!

I've been angsting over this whole day, since the very moment I woke up? Would I like it? Would I hate it? Would I be disappointed? I so want this blow out of the park, all the way into the next galaxy, I'm afraid I'm bound to be disappointed. Note to self: breathe, and think possiyive, girl!

Okay gotta run home so I won't be late catching it on tv. Later...

And what did you dream of last night, Jane? Anything exciting? Mine was so flat and lifeless and I think it probably reflected my mind, I'm so afraid to expect anything from it!

I've been angsting over this whole day

I've been angsting the whole week! The spoilers are behind cuts but occasionally some people let on more and it was torture, trying to decipher what they were talking about without actually clicking on the cut. It got so bad for me that I just had to talk to a friend whom I know has no qualms about reading spoilers and she managed to calm me somewhat, about that one particular thing I was so very afraid of!

I can't remember exactly as I hardly ever can remember the details of a dream, but given the past two/three or was it four episode, the pressure has been building in regard to whether Dean is going to say yes to Michael. So I think my dream was about Dean sacrifice himself and said yes, and as a result, he disappeared, which led to Sam searching for him. Cliche much? \o/

I just finished watching the 100th. All I'm gonna say at this moment is -- :DDD

P.S. What were you so afraid of? Dean saying yes to Michael?

I've been really good this time and have not peeked at any ep reviews. Still have 4.5 more hours until I can watch it!

I dream of Jensen Ackles directing too. I'm sure he'd be incredible!

8 more hours for me, Muni!!! And I haven't been spoiled either except for one tiny thing which had me feeling despondent all week that I just had to talk about it to a friend who's into spoilers. And she said I had nothing to worry about!

Hee, Jensen would be the sexiest director. Ever.

I don't think you'll be disappointed in this episode! There were a BUNCH of flaily moments that should keep fannish discussion going for quite a while. I'm pretty sure 99% of the Samgirls and 99% of the Deangirls are happy with this episode. The ones who aren't? I don't even want to try to understand them, they'll just try to harsh my squee.

I can't wait to discuss this with you once you've seen it!

I really need to watch it again. I still need to watch the two before that again, so maybe I can schedule a marathon over the weekend! If I can pry my mom from the living room for three hours... As soon as she goes upstairs to take a nap, I'm taking over the TV!

This episode made me so happy, so many times...I think it's a toss-up between this one and Changing Channels, which I loved A LOT for different reasons.

lol! Were your ears burning? I've been thinking about you lots. I've started my walk/run program again this week and I tried to find your "2.5 km" post and lj won't play ball last night. It was difficult to reply while I was away as sometimes the signal was just not strong enough.

itstonedme is sleeping longer and dreaming too! I don't remember dreams, but I do wake up with solutions, so something is going on in there!

2.9 k! Yay!

You will just get stronger and stronger! Give your body time and it will come. I think the tricky part is to keep the running interesting - you need achievable challenges and not just distance.

You could try this schedule - http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/racing/six-week-intermediate-5k-schedule/72.html

It's from Runners World and is for anyone who can run for 30 minutes, four times a week. There are other schedules out there as well. They keep it more fun and challenging I think.

Their Six-week Beginner Schedule is what I've just started again.

I'm only on week 1 - running 1 min and walking 1 1/2 mins eight times, but I'll catch you! ;D

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmm, yeah, my ears did feel hot these past few :DDD

I don't have a timer-watch so I go by distance - about 500 meters of running followed by ~300 meters of brisk walking ( or until I catch my breath again ). My rest days are dictated by my TV shows lol and currently they're Wednesday and Friday, and Sunday if we were away fron home.

That schedule that you linked me to is interesting! And it ends with a 5K run omg!

My weight still remains more or less the same, maybe half a kilo lighter but my weight yo-yoing plus-minus 0.5 kilo is nothing unusual, I got that even when I wasn't exercising but I do feel much fitter now, lighter somehow even when the scales doesn't show much. I'm seriously thinking of getting one that measures in pounds!! :D

Date: 2010-04-16 09:10 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/tweedle_/
Measure your waist! It is probably a better indicator or weight loss. You are now putting on muscle and probably carrying more water by being better hydrated, which will confuse the issue. I lost about an 1 and a half from my waist over the last month and a half. Too hot to eat and a lot more exercise.

Just don't measure your bust size. ;) My boobs, which aren't much to speak of at the best of times, are the first place the fat vanishes from. Wah! ;D

I just watch the second hand and always end up running a bit more than I should and walking a bit less.

I have always maintained that I need a 'boy' to run/walk in front of me at exactly the right pace. I would be so mezmerised by the hypnotic motion of his tight little buns in his shiny black shorts that I wouldn't even notice I was running.

I need one at the pool as well to keep track of how many lengths I've done. :D

YES! You're absolutely right. Usually it's about that amount of time running before your body kicks in! :D I think you're right about the endorphin, although I've found that it varies from run to run. Some runs feel wonderful (ugh, my last one before I hurt my knee was wonderful, like I could go forever, but others have been horrible) :D

There's definitely a point when you feel like you can run forever. I use a few different work-out programs (Kara Goucher and Serena Williams) when I'm jumping rope and towards the beginning they both ask 'are you feeling good?' and I'm like NO I FEEL LIKE SHIT! It takes a while to reach that happy place where it doesn't hurt so much! :))

Good for you for the running! I can't run at all, because when I do it seriously takes me hours before I can breathe easily again. Even walking and talking on the phone at the same time makes it hard to breathe. But I'm trying to do more walking.

I don't know whether it's due to the mitral valve prolapse...I don't think it's from fibromyalgia. But I know they both really sap my energy big time.

I think I found that same point recently on the Eliptical we just bought. I went from 7 to 15 minutes in a day and was surprised. I did rowing after that and crunches. I have so much respect for you running. I couldn't get into that. But, I have never heard someone say they reach that point and then something happens quite like you did. It helps me look for it. Hugs you tons xoxooxoxo megawoman you! v

I wish I have those gym equipment to exercise with!

I've heard of it before but only experienced it recently. Before that I was wondering and wondering on how to increase my distance because it seemed like I could never do it and there was these runners on my flist who were talking about doing 5 to 8 miles!

Nah ... I'm no megawoman :DDD
