It's good to see Dana Walsh again since I thought that we had already seen the last of her. I admit to giving this little squeak of delight, seeing the name Katee Sackhoff appearing on the list of stars. Though I still can't say whether it's just the character or the actress that I like as I've never seen Katee anywhere else before ( I don't watch BSG! ).

Oh my, she really is deliciously evil, isn't she? She'd make a marvellous demon on SPN. Heck, I think I'd even like Ruby 2 if she was played by Katee. That smouldering look, the panther-like grace and the swagger to her walk, her lips! I've said this before but I'll say it again, I totally agree with Katee being the female Dean, as said by lassiterfics here.

Yes, Katee Sackhoff has now officially joined the ranks of my celebrity girl-crushes. Which is slightly different than my celebrity boyfriends as the list hasn't changed much over the years, unlike the BFs. Understandbly so since I don't crush on the girls the same way as I do the guys!

Here be my girls : Gillian Anderson, Annette Bening, Helen Hunt, Ashley Judd and now Katee Sackoff. And oh, Victoria Principal too because you know, Pamela Barnes-Ewing is love.

That's what I heard. Though you know, I'm so in love with the original BSG that it's kind of weird to think of Starbuck as a girl! ( Or is it Apollo? )

Any Katee Sackhoff-centric episodes that you can remember? I might just download those episodes to watch!

I was team!Apollo while watching BSG and frankly the fanbase was divided between Kara (aka Starbuck) and Lee (Apollo) toward the end, there was even some Kara!hate involved (not mine personally, but that of my friends at the time), so I can't say I'm a Katee fan, but even considering that I have to admit that she is a good actress. My measure of quality of acting however is how the actor portrays different characters (take Alec, Dean, CJ from Dawson's Creek, what have you -- those characters are so different I didn't connect them until I checked Jensen's profile on IMDB!). I've seen Katee in BSG and in Bionic Woman and to me those were identical characters, so jury is still out. I gotta see how she plays on . . . is it 24?

Best Katee episodes? Take the pilot and "Scar" (it's late season 2, so if you enjoy the Pilot, watch as the series progresses, don't go ahead), in the latter, especially the scene between Starbuck and Kat in the pilots' briefing room, her demeanor changes so rapidly -- it's awesome acting. I hope it was in this episode, lol, my memory may be a little off. Just watch all the first and second season, this is some awesome storytelling and great characters. And Katee shines. Too bright for the show's good. ;)

Sorry to butt in, but I concur with everything you said here, my e-sis!

Scar definitely is a great choice. Thinking back, I still liked Starbuck the best in the miniseries & season 1 (and Layne, if you want to watch BSG, you have to start with the miniseries!) Eventually the writers (and some blame Katee herself) kinda ruined the character for me. Another one of my favorite is "Unfinished Business", but it's controversial because lots of people hated Kara in it.

Katee was in Bionic Woman? But she didn't play the title character, did she? I saw an episode once but couldn't quite get into it. I kept comparing the new bionic woman to the original Jamie Sommers! I guess that's why I couldn't get into BSG either as I kept thinking of the original one which I love very, very much ( I'm team Apollo! ). But since I'm now a fan of Katee, I might just download the Starbuck-centric ones. I've actually downloaded and seen one but I couldn't make head or tail of it as it was somewhere in the tail end of the final season ( I think ), and also, I need to stop thinking of the original BSG to get into the re-make.

One of the most important Lee centric episode is "Bastille Day" (season 1 episode 3). It's critical in understand Lee. That's also the first episode the original Apollo (Richard Hatch) made an appearance as Tom Zarek -- a very interesting and complex character.

Yes, Tricia Helfer and Grace Park both play major roles in the show, and they're wonderful, and so is Mary McDonell, who plays Laura. Katee is kick-ass as Starbuck.

I'm not an actual fan of Susan Sarandon but I adore her in 'Shall We Dance', that movie which she did with Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez. I love her acting there, her character and she totally outshone both Gere and Lopez! Have you seen it?

I adore Mary Louise Parker when she was in Duet! I didn't see her in anything else since then unfortunately, but I sure was stoked to find out that she was Jeffery Dean Morgan's girlfriend. Pity they broke up because I totally approved of that pairing!

And I adoreadoreadore Annette Bening. I love her laugh especially, that smile of hers is totally heart-melting. I've watched these more than once - The American President ( epic flail ), Mars Attack ( so cute! ), Love Affair ( *dies* ), Being Julia ( awesome! ), Regarding Henry ... I'm not really a fan of The American Beauty but I still love her in it!

Me neither actually but those that I have I keep! Unlike my men-crush as they keep on rotating/changing over the years. Jensen is by far the longest that I have in my Top 5, more than 2 years and still going strong!

It's a pity that Ashley Judd is not around so much now :(

I jumped in all over the threads here, and I just realized I haven't answered your question yet.

My girls are: Audrey Hepburn, Katherine Heigl, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Naomi Watts, Pita Wilson (tv's La Femme Nikita), and Katee Sackhoff (to certain degree). Also I haven't fully embraced "Farscape" yet, but I feel I'm already developing a girl crush on Aeryn Sun's actress Claudia Black.

So there you have it. Ha! I have way more girl!crushes (somewhere between 8 to 10) than boy!crushes (3), I just realized. But I admit my boy!crushes are all way stronger/more intense than my girl!crushes. :)

Oh my love for the girls are just as strong as my love for the boys, only in a different way. I mean, I don't think of them in a sexual way, nor do I femme-slash them with anybody. And I guess I'm more loyal to the girls than the boys, the first four have been on the list like, forever! My top 10 boys have been changing like crazy, but I have to say that Jensen's been number one for quite some time now :))

Katee is just so cool in BSG, (2 first seasons IMO), she totally rocked there. Because I saw her there first I'm having a little trouble with her in 24. But yeah, she can play deviously evil I think. She has something for sure. I hope she'll get future roles that suites her.

I would definitely recomend the mini series first. You just have to see that first I think. I kinda did not like how they developed the series in season 3 and 4. I was so mad cause I'm a huge Kara/Apollo fan and well... I think the writers screwed them over to say it nicely.

Kara is Katee? I absolutely adore her in 24. Yeah, I know she's evil and all that but there's just something about her that I like! I've downloaded the first part of BSG because of her!!

I heard that she's going to star in her own show soon :)
