Well! That was pretty interesting. I enjoyed it, especially at 18:53, which I replayed over and over again. Oh Balthazar, just for that alone I adore you.

I love seeing Ellen again, and I cried at the end when I saw that pic of Bobby, alone. And apparently daddy Winchester himself almost made it back as well???

You seriously considered John Winchester?!
He was on the table. God knows if we could have even gotten Jeffrey [Dean Morgan]. We didn’t know. As soon as [we] came up with Ellen, we said, “Yeah, that’s right.”

From here. ( Some spoilers for future episodes at the end of that article ).

Now if John really had made it, I would have died of happiness. But Ellen was good, too. I didn't know anything about this episode so seeing Samantha Ferris's name there made me squee really, really hard!

So yeah, overall a good episode, one that I enjoyed esp 18:53. Oh, have I said that already? :))

Yeah, I really enjoyed this one too. Can't explain it, really. I'm not a Cas-girl by any means but I did appreciate that little insight into his current situation (and state of mind). Plus, I love Balthy.

Bobby just continues to break my heart. The writers have done an amazing job developing this character. :)

I adore Cas mainly because he so obviously adores Dean, so it really boils down to Dean lol. I was kind of indifferent to Balthy before but I like him now :))

And yes, I think the writers did well with Bobby.

The ep itself felt flat to me but that line? The best moment of the ep. Or maybe even a season.

It was that "erotically dependent" all over again. I could hardly believe my ears so I had to replay that stat. And again and again!

It was the "in love with you" phrase that floored me, instead of just, you know, "loves you". That Balthazar sure does have a sense of humour!

I loved it. There were so many awesome parts and then of course the not so awesome one where Bobby was alone again. :(

Poor, poor Bobby. I wonder whether he remembers all that when the world was righted again, the way the boys did.

I really enjoyed this one. I don't know why, but it just felt "right" even though everything about the world was wrong. IT was so good to see Ellen again, but so sad to say goodbye again.

Would have been interesting to see how it would have gone with John back...

It was like seasons 1-3 all over again. I wonder how much was erased from the reboot version. Cas mentioned the whole soul-less thing but what about the apocalypse and Dean's deal? And you know, to me it had the feel of the writers admitting that Souless!Sam plot was wrong!

What part did you hear this in? I don't remember Cas mentioning soul-less Sam.

Lol he didn't actually. Went and rewatched the second half of that episode - look at what you made me do ;P - Fate accused Cas of wanting the souls for his war and my imagination did the rest, when they said he changed the timeline and all, I was wondering which parts of the boys lives were changed - John's deal? Dean's deal? Dean in hell? The apocalypse? Soul-less!Sam? Since the last one is my least favourite of the show storyarcs, and I guess my subconcious associated that with those souls from the unborn descendents of the Titanic passengers, and lo, Cas had a brand new line lol!

LOL! :D

Well, we know for sure that Sam and Dean stopped the Apocalypse from happening (both Cas and Atropos mentioned it), so at least the major events in the timeline must have taken place. As for soul-less Sam, I guess we'll never know for sure.

I liked this ep, esp for all the brother moments, and it was wonderful to see Ellen again. I'd give anything for John to return to the show!

When Balty said that line to Dean, it reminded me of what he said to Sam in 6.11, when he referred to Cas as Sam's "boyfriend", lol. And then Atropos referred to the boys as Cas's "favorite pets." Cas cares about both of them. :)

Those angels sure did have their sense of humour! Even that smarmy Zachariah with his much squee-inducing "erotically codependent" :))

I like Balty, he makes me lol! And yay for our "erotically co-dependent" boys! :)

You met Samantha! That's so awesome!! I've heard from another friend that she's very nice in person.

I follow the series 'V' and it was a wonderful surprise to see her in one of the episodes. And I think she was in a couple or so episodes of Smallville. How I wish that people will give her bigger roles, maybe a regular in some TV series.
