My computer is driving me nuts with its rattling sound ( death rattle? ). I really, really must send it to the repair shop but I still need it to download Suits 103. Maybe tomorrow. So if you don't see me around it's because I don't have my computer with me. Hopefully not for long though.

Anyone here has seen Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures? Oh gosh, that scene where the girls bashed Pauline's mother head? That was GRUESOME *shudders*

Saw the first episode of Dallas 2012 last night. I was actually prepared to not like it, because you know, I loved the original Dallas so very, very much. And also because Pam Ewing isn't in it and Bobby has a new wife *cries* but despite all that, I liked it, and yes, I want to watch the rest of it now. And it's good to see Delilah from The Faculty in it. I kind of like Elana even though she's nowhere as pretty as Rebecca. And omg, the twists and turns of it. I like!

'Heavenly Creatures' well i've seen that in the past but can't remember it now!

We've yet to get Dallas here, or maybe i've just missed it (don't think so though) but I will be giving it a go when it screens

I'm fond of this computer so I hope it's still repairable. But hubby said buying a new one will probably be cheaper so we'll see. It's still rattling ( loudly ) right now *pulls out hair in frustrations*

Watching Heavenly Creatures totally made me see Kate Winslet in a new light! ( I watched the movie without knowing what it was all about other than it was a PJ movie ).

I'm enjoying the new Dallas a lot!

Haven't seen Heavenly Creatures but PJ was into the horror thing. What night is Dallas 2012 on? I keep missing it. What happened to Pam? Did she die? I really have to check it out. hugs you xoxoox v

The creatures in HC were not that horrifying, I mean, by PJ's standard, they were actually quite low-key. But it's the main characters itself, two 14-yr-old girls and what they eventually did that was gruesome and terrible. I was actually keening with shock at that one particular scene because it was so stark and in-your-face kind of thing.

I can't remember what actually happened to Pam so I googled it up yesterday. Apparently Victoria Principal wanted out, so they had to kill off her character, only the producers didn't really want to kill her so they left it open-ended. She was in a trailer crash or something and she was burnt beyond recogniton and she left Bobby. Another actress replaced her for a short while ( I really can't remember that part ) but it didn't work out.

I'm still hoping that she'd make a come-back for this new series. JR and Bobby and Sue Ellen are still around, and Lucy and Ray Krebb made a guest appearance in the first epiosde, and I heard that Cliff Barnes will be around too, so yeah, I want Pam Ewing!

That Heavenly Creatures was based on a true story. Very chilling! I thought it was a beautiful and chilling film!

Eeeeek, that head-bashing scene was terrible, wan't it?

Yes, it was a beautiful movie, and I think I recognized a couple of places where I thought LotR was shot. I'm quite sure one was where Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli were running, chasing the Uruk-Hais that had gotten Merry and Pippin.

And also, the first 10 minutes or so rather felt like a travellogue for NZ!

Yes, she still looks beautiful, only ... and it's making me rather sad, somewhat plastic-like, like she had had one too many surgery :((

I read that Victoria Principal may make an appearance in the show, only apparently it's not finalised and very hush-hush it seems. I don't know how they're going to write her in as Bobby is now happily married to another woman ( boo! ) and I really do NOT want to see Bobby choosing his second wife over Pam. I shipped Pam/Bobby so hard back then that I had a scrapbook dedicated to them! So yeah, I rather not have Pam back than have Bobby no longer in love wit her :/

I didn't see Heavenly Creatures but I did see some of his other films so I can imagine what that scene must have been like. *hides behind sofa cushion*

Heavenly Creatures wasn't really what I expected it to be. I mean, I thought there'd be plenty of monsters ala LotR and The Frighteners but the creatures in HC were surprisingly quite low-key. It's what the two girls did in it that was shocking and terrible. Do watch it if you had the time, I think young Kate Winslet did an awesome job in that dark movie.

Do you remember Dallas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_(1978_TV_series)), a TV series that ran in the 70's and 80's? This is a continuation of it ( not a reboot or remake ), so it's quite interesting ( and a little bit sad for me ) to see the main characters of the original show now old and wrinkled with the babies now all grown-up ( now the main characters of it ). Dallas was my favourite show back then. I had my OTPs ( only I didn't call it that back then ), had my own stories about them running around in my head, cut out their pics. You know, the usual fandom stuff heheh.

I have heard of the new Dallas but not seen any of it! I'm intrigued though! I remember when Dallas and Dynasty were first on tv here - it was a huge outcry about how rubbish the programmes were, but not long after millions were watching it once a week. :D

I saw Heavenly Creatures a long time ago and liked it but omg yes that scene was gruesome. I haven't seen the new Dallas but it sounds really good. I hope Pam returns, I wish she could be with Bobby again.

I wish Pam could be with Bobby again, too. But Bobby has a new wife now :(( And she seems like a nice woman too, whom JR approves to boot! I want my Bobby/Pam OTP back again but oh, it would so hurt me if Pam came back and Bobby chose his new wife over her :((

That's an anti-virus programme I take it? I just use whatever programme the person at the repair shop install for me. I think it's the AVG scan at the moment.
